Benefits and fair pay
Tenured staff who are lazy and abuse the system, but management refuses to clean house.
Health Care.
CEO has rewarded employees across the board which is commendable.
Drug test regularly. Have peer reviews by staff. Customer input by request.
Researched the role and the company.
Comparable
Area/region is not very diverse. Difficult to say.
Customers. Coworkers are awful.
A lot of Locations ,flexable work schedules for partimers,
Low paying organization for the backend employees who do the most work such as receiving and pulling delivery orders.Spring time is here and pulling orders of mulch ,cement ,gravel, and other project items not to mention WOOD PROJECT ITEMS 16FTs.is overwelmi ng in aday sometimes 10 to 13 orders aday for $ 14 15even $16 a hr.is slave like Do Better Lowes
Flexible Days,& hours for partime workers as it should be at the pay rate. This is my 1rst time in retail it sucks for all the work they ask of you Especially in the Receiving &Delivery Depts.
Dont no much about either to busy pulling 9to10 orders aday needs to be a cutoff or a night team to help complete these orders
MORE MONEY!!!!!!per hr.in the Delivery and Receiving Dept. We do all the heavy lifting Every Day
Shirt and Tie and being punctual
This is my 1rst time in retail im a retiree and my last unless the Pay Standards increase the cost of living on the East Coast and the pay that Lowes is giving for the Dept . Im in does not match for the tasks on a daily basis that are asked of me i did 32yrs in the P.O. so i no all about hard work.
Its alright. More Money
As a retiree just getting out the house and seeing my lowes family everyday its kool we all grinding it out some more than others getting my 6miles a day walking the warehouse flr.living life
Good benefits and bonuses
Very toxic environment, nothing but drama and the lazy are promoted so they can keep the hard workers under them to make themselves look good
Lots of bonuses, especially during Covid
I do not like Marvin Ellison, he has cut too many vital roles and the stores are suffering as he focuses solely on the online business
Go back to our roots, used to be a great company to work for and the work performed used to mean something and have value
I searched interview questions online and prepared my own answers from the examples.
I think it is below average especially for the amount of work that is expected
The store I was in had a lot of favoritism shown by management to people of their same color.
A job well done.
Remote position, benefits, great management support
Limited paid holidays
it is hard finding good people to work with. Allot of people come in and don’t expect to do anything and still expect to get paid. Once you find good workers the job is great.
it is hard finding good people to work with. Allot of people come in and don’t expect to do anything and still expect to get paid. Once they are hired. Lowes will not fire them no matter what they do. It’s horrible.
Learning. Meeting other people I would not of met otherwise.
Anytime we see the CEO, which is not often but understandably so, he is interested in what’s going on.
Listen to what is going on. Learn the process. Just because you have been there before dosnt mean it dosnt change. STOP picking you friends for management and support the DS’s that need the help.
Write anything that is promised down. If it’s not on paper and signed by the interviewer then it will not happen.
Great insurance, good parking spots, the lockers hold your stuff, the toilets flush.. sometimes
Management will lie, twist your arm, and blatantly disrespect you in front of peers, customers, and even corporate. The customers expect you to be an absolute genius on every single item in the store. Store managements and even corporate says that a “significant increase” in pay for switching to a much more labor intensive position where you give up a great schedule, weekends, and holidays off is a massive twenty five cents. Then tell you you’re above the position average and will not be receiving any additional pay for at least two years. When so many forms and people you’ve talked to said the position STARTS at .50 less then what you took a “raise” for.
Insurance is good, get an hour for lunch,
There’s something to like? All the do is brag about how sales are through the roof and say we haven’t met sales so we aren’t getting a bonus this quarter. (Its only $300 if sales are met) and how the store made $200k in a day
Jfc listen. The people on the floor know what we are doing, just because you started as a manager at this company 20 years ago doesn’t mean you have what it takes to get down and dirty like the slaves you call employees
Don’t. Just don’t. The “flexible schedule” they tell you about doesn’t tell you that you will be working 11a-9p one day and 5a-2p next, and if you complain about it, they will put you on part time and still schedule you one day 4p-9p and the next 6a-10a and that’s if you’re lucky. Most times you’ll get one day a week and it’s only four hours.
None, just another big box store selling over priced Chinese crap. Just go to Amazon.
Lowes University AP4Me
Going home!
The gentleman retrieveing the shopping carts. Horrible management from the top to the store.
Sell your stock and start looking for another line of work.
Look else where.
Good benefits.
Local store and district management discriminates against prior military service and older employees for promotions in favor of younger employees. They prefer college age and part time employees.

CEO is good
Management is pretty horrible. They don’t know how to schedule employees. They don’t understand how to schedule to get effective coverage.
It doesn’t matter. They pick who they want regardless of interviews.
Building relationships with our great customers and selling and helping other business establishments
Terrible work life balance, managers are only allowed one weekend off per fiscal quarter, that's only four weekends off per year and it's extremely difficult if you have a family.
I like helping customers protect themselves and their products by offering Extended Protection Plans for qualifying products at the Point Of Sale.
I don't like the low-income potential with little belief in investing in talent & growth beyond applying for a manager-level job.
My favorite perk / benefit is the "Employee Drink Discount."
Friendly staff and managers, opportunity
Never could get enough hours
Sales and discounts
All associates I worked with are kind, respectful, and hard working management are professional and helpful when I need help learning new tools.
Flexible scheduling
non-management employees
management which is lazy, stupid, greedy
What a joke! Benefits?
Love working with customers as well as mentoring my team to excel and grow within the company.
Need more employees.
Health insurance, benefits, paid time off.
Keeps me from living on the street...
Bad management, horrible software, no support, constant threats if credit card quotas are not met.
Live 1 mile away. Walk to and from.
Recently resigned, best decision I have made in my working life. Lowes is a prime example of corporate greed it is criminal the things they are getting away with. My best advice I could give anyone save your dignity and self respect stop working for people like Lowes.
Corporate greed trying to over work people for bottom wages sickening it really is. Don’t know how Marvin sleeps at night. I hope there’s a special place for people like this in the end.
Nothing
Get exercise, like going to gym. Good management.
Part time, Not being able to advance. Looking for full time work, not in biology.
Free food, sample grilled food when testing new grills.
The coworkers and employee discounts and events held their for employees.
Pay. Way things were ran. Nothing being taken seriously until threat of telling their manager.
Playable schedule
No appreciation from corporate office
Opportunity to climb the ladder
It is ok salary wise. But almost not worth it.
The people are not nice. Everyone is out for themselves and does not work as a team.
Great management at Dickerson Pike location. They make work fun!
Doesn't meet my career objectives
They've been very flexible whenever I've asked for time off.
Helping customers, good co workers
The rare but tyrant manager
10 percent discount
The challenge of daily tasks
Lack of leadership
Benefits and work life balance
Sales reps are great, good product options
Pay/schedule. No work life balance and no commission
Independence with the right management
The environment were amazing the employees worked as a team and helping the customer was as easy as one, two, three.
What i did not liked about working there is that there was not an opportunity to be able to learn about other departments which as an employee who is always in the floor helping and assisting customer would’ve come helpful to learn about other departments to easily help the customers.
Favorite benefits they provided were the bonuses and the dental plan they were amazing!!
I loved my coworkers and constant work.
The customers think that they are entitled and management gives everything to them after they throw a tantrum. Also, the shift schedule is outragous.
The benefits were nice but you have to pay for them.
Scenery outside lawn and garden, helping customers, trimming Christmas trees, using chainsaw and using power jack.
Boring, poor management
Hour long break
Taking care of customer. The leadership i have. The benefits

all benefits they have good benefits and perks were youe employee discounts
I was able to get experience of different departments , and to receive knowledge regarding tools and certain products .
The only disagreement i have is with the management and pay
My favorite benefit at Lowe’s is the flexible hours
the people
lack of management support
have health, dental, vision benefits and 401K
I enjoyed the people I work with and the family atmosphere in our store.
Lack of support from my manager and the environment that was being created as a result of his bad decisions.
None
people and pay
upper level management clicks and favorites
bonus and stock grants
The values that the company stood for
the new CEO leadership, their values changes
employee discount
I enjoyed the people I worked with. It was a fun atmosphere.
After they had a "restructuring", the morale seemed to decline because they removed a lot of the good managers and advancement opportunities.
The team environment
The commute
In house cafeteria and a walking path around a pond to break up the stress of the day.
Has potential to be a good home improvement retailer
Poor regional management. Don't seem to care about the good employees
The store is close to where I live. My co-workers are a really nice group of people. I really enjoy talking to customers.
I am officially a part time employee however I am working full time hours. I am often working 8 or 9 days in a row. I have spoken to management and Human Resources regarding this issue however nothing has changed.
The store that I work at is only a few miles from my house so the location is great. I also am entitled to a 10% discount on all store items.
