A lot of Locations ,flexable work schedules for partimers,
Low paying organization for the backend employees who do the most work such as receiving and pulling delivery orders.Spring time is here and pulling orders of mulch ,cement ,gravel, and other project items not to mention WOOD PROJECT ITEMS 16FTs.is overwelmi ng in aday sometimes 10 to 13 orders aday for $ 14 15even $16 a hr.is slave like Do Better Lowes
Flexible Days,& hours for partime workers as it should be at the pay rate. This is my 1rst time in retail it sucks for all the work they ask of you Especially in the Receiving &Delivery Depts.
Dont no much about either to busy pulling 9to10 orders aday needs to be a cutoff or a night team to help complete these orders
MORE MONEY!!!!!!per hr.in the Delivery and Receiving Dept. We do all the heavy lifting Every Day
Shirt and Tie and being punctual
This is my 1rst time in retail im a retiree and my last unless the Pay Standards increase the cost of living on the East Coast and the pay that Lowes is giving for the Dept . Im in does not match for the tasks on a daily basis that are asked of me i did 32yrs in the P.O. so i no all about hard work.
Its alright. More Money
As a retiree just getting out the house and seeing my lowes family everyday its kool we all grinding it out some more than others getting my 6miles a day walking the warehouse flr.living life
Great insurance, good parking spots, the lockers hold your stuff, the toilets flush.. sometimes
Management will lie, twist your arm, and blatantly disrespect you in front of peers, customers, and even corporate. The customers expect you to be an absolute genius on every single item in the store. Store managements and even corporate says that a “significant increase” in pay for switching to a much more labor intensive position where you give up a great schedule, weekends, and holidays off is a massive twenty five cents. Then tell you you’re above the position average and will not be receiving any additional pay for at least two years. When so many forms and people you’ve talked to said the position STARTS at .50 less then what you took a “raise” for.
Insurance is good, get an hour for lunch,
There’s something to like? All the do is brag about how sales are through the roof and say we haven’t met sales so we aren’t getting a bonus this quarter. (Its only $300 if sales are met) and how the store made $200k in a day
Jfc listen. The people on the floor know what we are doing, just because you started as a manager at this company 20 years ago doesn’t mean you have what it takes to get down and dirty like the slaves you call employees
Don’t. Just don’t. The “flexible schedule” they tell you about doesn’t tell you that you will be working 11a-9p one day and 5a-2p next, and if you complain about it, they will put you on part time and still schedule you one day 4p-9p and the next 6a-10a and that’s if you’re lucky. Most times you’ll get one day a week and it’s only four hours.
it is hard finding good people to work with. Allot of people come in and don’t expect to do anything and still expect to get paid. Once you find good workers the job is great.
it is hard finding good people to work with. Allot of people come in and don’t expect to do anything and still expect to get paid. Once they are hired. Lowes will not fire them no matter what they do. It’s horrible.
Learning. Meeting other people I would not of met otherwise.
Anytime we see the CEO, which is not often but understandably so, he is interested in what’s going on.
Listen to what is going on. Learn the process. Just because you have been there before dosnt mean it dosnt change. STOP picking you friends for management and support the DS’s that need the help.
Write anything that is promised down. If it’s not on paper and signed by the interviewer then it will not happen.
Good benefits and bonuses
Very toxic environment, nothing but drama and the lazy are promoted so they can keep the hard workers under them to make themselves look good
Lots of bonuses, especially during Covid
I do not like Marvin Ellison, he has cut too many vital roles and the stores are suffering as he focuses solely on the online business
Go back to our roots, used to be a great company to work for and the work performed used to mean something and have value
I searched interview questions online and prepared my own answers from the examples.
I think it is below average especially for the amount of work that is expected
The store I was in had a lot of favoritism shown by management to people of their same color.
A job well done.
Hours
Low pay
Work life balance , location of stores able to transfer to other stores
Openness and his transparency about what direction the company would like to go
Nothing, I’m working with people from different countries and backgrounds
Read up on Lowe’s background and what they had to offer in terms of growth
A little less than other large corporations in our state
Very satisfied with my group of coworkers
Helping customers find what they’re looking for and especially the older generation

Everything
People get jealous when you get treated good for working hard
The long lunches
Good benefits.
Local store and district management discriminates against prior military service and older employees for promotions in favor of younger employees. They prefer college age and part time employees.
10% discount
CEO is good
Management is pretty horrible. They don’t know how to schedule employees. They don’t understand how to schedule to get effective coverage.
It doesn’t matter. They pick who they want regardless of interviews.

Building relationships with our great customers and selling and helping other business establishments
Terrible work life balance, managers are only allowed one weekend off per fiscal quarter, that's only four weekends off per year and it's extremely difficult if you have a family.
Great benefits

Medical benefit and vacation time
I like helping customers protect themselves and their products by offering Extended Protection Plans for qualifying products at the Point Of Sale.

Friendly staff and managers, opportunity

All associates I worked with are kind, respectful, and hard working management are professional and helpful when I need help learning new tools.
Flexible scheduling
The work culture at Lowe’s was the one thing that stood out to me as setting them a bar higher than other companies. The way they value their associates is the model for any company.
There isn’t much that is not to like. The one thing that bothered us is the uncertainty of retaining my job due to the economic pressure and possibility of being laid off.
Working from home which leads to increased family time that we value as being so important for our family.
The customers and coworkers are friendly and down to earth there
They always had me working outside rather I wanted to not. I have health problem like allergies and also a anemia.

Work-life balance, Team engagement
Terrible after working months running 2 and 3 departments alone Lowes puts up record profits telling a us how good we are doing. Problem is gas went up $1.80 a gallon along with everything else and Lowes decided at my one year anniversary I deserved.12 cents raise loll you can’t make this up. I quit 4 days later can’t believe I worked those 4 days
Nothing
Nothing
Recently resigned, best decision I have made in my working life. Lowes is a prime example of corporate greed it is criminal the things they are getting away with. My best advice I could give anyone save your dignity and self respect stop working for people like Lowes.
Corporate greed trying to over work people for bottom wages sickening it really is. Don’t know how Marvin sleeps at night. I hope there’s a special place for people like this in the end.

Being a basic person building in a construction store.
The coworkers and employee discounts and events held their for employees.
Pay. Way things were ran. Nothing being taken seriously until threat of telling their manager.
The employees at lowes are friendly
Lowes has very little respect for their employees. Employees are not able to get a regular schedule, or any set days off. Lowes has very poor training to teach employees how to do their job efficiently. Lowes does not compete at all with other companies pay scale. Lowes does not show any desire to keep good employees.
