Requirements:
DMD or DDS degree from an accredited dental school
Active Florida dental license

Job Description:
To provide dental care in the diagnosis and treatment of patients of the PATHS Dental Clinic. Responsible for providing preventative and restorative dental care that is consistent with accepted professional standards. Expected to consistently work to ensure patient satisfaction and maintain positive relationships with the dental clinic staff.
Job Duties
* Provide general and comprehensive dentistry services and supervise dental and clinical staff.
* Assist with the development, implementation and monitoring of clinical dental policies and procedures.
* Diagnose and evaluate dental conditions and maintaining accurate dental records to support diagnose/evaluation.
* Interpret x-rays and treat mouth diseases. Provide restorations and other treatment as needed.
* Perform emergency procedures on patients to reduce or eliminate pain. Assess treatment options and agree on treatment plan with patients.
* Instruct/educate patients in oral hygiene and dental care.
* Assist with the development and implementation of Dental Quality Assurance.
* Train and evaluate assigned dental staff.
* Other assignments by Dental director as necessary.
Preferred Skills:
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS)
Experience: Minimum of one years experience in human/social services, preferably in a healthcare environment.
Training: Training or direct experience in counseling, interviewing, service plan development, decision making, information and referral services is preferred.
Licensure: Valid license to practice dentistry in the state of Virginia
