Job Title: Entry Level Phlebotomist
Location: Tampa FL 33626/33607
Pay Range: $17.75 per hour
Schedule: M-F 6:00am to 3:00pm with rotating Saturdays (40 hrs per week)
Duration: 4 Months+
*The salary is determined by an individual's level of experience, as well as any relevant licenses and certifications they may hold.*
Responsibilities:
Greet patients and assist with check-ins at the kiosk or handheld tablet
Answer patient questions with care, compassion, and professionalism
Maintain the waiting area and ensure it stays clean and welcoming
Help build trust by explaining what patients should expect during their visit
Protect patient confidentiality and ensure accuracy of information
Support phlebotomists and cover breaks as needed
Be willing to learn and perform phlebotomy skills
Once trained, collect and process clinical and forensic specimens
Complete daily tasks accurately and on time under supervisor direction
Maintain required records and documentation
Keep a safe, professional environment for patients and staff
Provide high-level customer service at all times
Communicate effectively in Spanish and English (bilingual required)
Be reliable, punctual, and able to stay for the full scheduled shift
Have dependable personal transportation (must not rely on bus/Uber)
Live within 20-25 minutes of the worksite to support attendance and coverage
Qualifications:
A High School Diploma or GED is required.
Minimum of 1-2 years of client facing customer service REQUIRED (Retail, Home Health Aide, etc).
Prior Phlebotomy experience is NOT required.
Keyboard/data entry experience a must.

Join one of the most respected names in diagnostics! We're looking for a dedicated and skilled Phlebotomist II - Float to provide excellent patient care and accurate specimen collection across multiple patient service centers in the Plantation, FL area.
Key Responsibilities:
• Draw quality blood samples from patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric
• Prepare specimens for lab testing following established procedures
• Provide an atmosphere of trust while explaining procedures to patients
• Perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection
• Verify patient demographics, signatures, and accurate tube labeling
• Maintain required records and documentation
• Support multiple locations as a floater, arriving on time and prepared
• Promote a safe, clean, and professional environment
• Demonstrate organizational commitment and positive communication with patients and staff
Requirements:
• Three years of phlebotomy experience REQUIRED (including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections)
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required only in CA, NV, WA)
• Medicalassistant or paramedic training preferred
• Ability to provide accurate, high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Flexible to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Must follow all company policies, dress code, and safety requirements
• Must have reliable transportation (bus/Uber/rideshare not acceptable)
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
• Travel required between multiple sites; mileage reimbursed
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in high-volume settings
• Must consistently arrive on time and complete the full shift
• Training locations may vary based on trainer availability
Reliable transportation is a must. Floaters must be within a 20-25 minute commute of the site to ensure punctuality for coverage assignments.
This is a contract position running 12/15/2025 - 4/30/2026, with potential for future opportunities based on performance.

Demonstrate technique/s using straight needles and/or butterfly needles.
Fully understand all of the physicians' orders. Matches laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes. Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required by test order.
Check all test requisitions or computer labels against the script to ensure 100% correctness.
Package specimens for transport.
Stores specimen samples according to the required temperature, and places samples.
Qualifications:
