The Legal Department at LPL Financial is looking for an attorney to serve as the Chief Privacy Officer (CPO) and Senior Vice President, Associate General Counsel of the firm. This attorney will be a visible leader across LPL, providing advice on legal and policy issues relating to privacy, technology development, cybersecurity and incident response, data governance, and artificial intelligence (AI) matters. Responsibilities:

* Develop and maintain privacy policies, procedures, and guidelines that align with legal requirements and industry best practices.
* Develop and deliver privacy training programs to educate employees about their responsibilities regarding data protection and privacy.
* Maintain and enhance procedures for handling and responding to privacy incidents.
* Coordinate with relevant stakeholders, such as Cybersecurity teams, Technology teams, Regulatory Affairs, and Corporate Communications to ensure timely and appropriate incident response.
* Work collaboratively with Technology and Data Governance teams to establish processes and systems to efficiently handle and document data subject rights afforded by applicable law.
* Draft and negotiate a high volume of provisions and agreements for a wide variety of commercial and technology contracts; collaborate with Commercial Contracts team to drive standards around privacy and data protection provisions, and handle escalations where the norm is not applicable.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for privacy-related inquiries from regulatory authorities, customers, and other stakeholders.
* Serve as the legal leader for AI matters at LPL.

Further, collaborating closely with LPL's Business and Technology teams to deliver a robust roadmap that communicates the product vision clearly to executive leaders as well as execution teams. The role will also provide leadership in partnering and negotiating with 3rd party technology solution providers, as well as determining the appropriate strategy for decisioning on build/buy offerings. Lastly, this leader will interact with advisors and their teams to identify opportunities to improve their utilization of LPL's offering and overall experience.
To be successful in this role, the SVP will exude a passion for modern product management, with a focus on agile development and iterative delivery of solutions. Requires the ability to get into the details with the team to solve problems and deliver solutions, as well as have the ability to roll up the efforts of the team in a cohesive communication to the most senior levels in the company and to clients. Driving the roadmap as well as communicating its progress to a variety of audiences is critical. The outputs of the roadmap drive the business outcomes, and this leader will understand how to work with analytic partners to measure the success of the team's efforts.

Job Overview:
The Advisory Consultant (AC) operates within a consultative, team-based environment that is focused on adding value to financial advisors and their clients. As part of LPL Financial, the largest independent broker dealer in the USA, you will make significant contributions to the firm and its clients. You will help advisors serve their clients by better leveraging the advisory products and platforms available at LPL Financial. You will serve as a critical partner for advisors, helping them grow their business while effectively and efficiently meeting the needs of their clients.
Responsibilities:
Drive greater adoption of LPL Advisory platforms as a percentage of advisors overall new business and through brokerage to advisory conversions
Partner directly with various LPL Client Success Managers (CSM) on aiding in setting up and executing a strategic business plan with respect to all aspects of driving growth at the largest independent offices
Consult with advisors to segment their client base and identify opportunities for growth
Increase adoption and implementation of the tools and resources supporting a well-run advisory practice
Have a strong knowledge of the breadth of services LPL provides and be a referral source to other business units
As an Advisory Consultant, you will spend 40% of your time in the field interacting with clients, traveling within the assigned territory a minimum of 3-4 days every other week
Conduct 16-20 meetings per week
Present at regional and national conferences
Partner with other LPL business units and sponsor firms to bring value-added education resources to advisors in the form of small group workshops on topics ranging from practice management, business development and investment related themes

CFP, CFA, CIMA, or CWS
Pay Range:
$100,500-$167,500/year

Job Overview:
The Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Institutional Client Success serves as part of a team dedicated to an institution that has both product manufacturing divisions and financial professionals or financial advisors. The AVP role is within LPL's client success division supporting the institutions distribution channel. The Client Success organization was formed at LPL to provide an integrated and consistent experience across primary touchpoints with LPL and to help institutions run thriving businesses. The IS Client Success team is responsible for the leadership of LPL's institutional clients, where the AVP acts as an operational and efficiency consultant, providing a proactive approach. The AVP will be a point of contact responsible for carrying out the tenants of an aligned strategic partnership between firms to drive revenue growth, business efficiencies and the execution of our strategic partnership agreement. This individual will need to build meaningful relationships through the high engagement of representing the client perspective on various initiatives.
The ideal candidate for this role has a combination of strong business acumen, a consulting mindset, and financial services knowledge to assist with the development and delivery of our key objectives.
Responsibilities:
* Identify opportunities to increase client satisfaction, retention and sales growth
* Manage high profile and complex situations with ease
* Execute the operating governance structure across specific functional partnership pods to deliver contractual obligations and desired business results
* Responsible for the ongoing strategic alignment, contractual and day to day business management
* Deliver on going KPI and SLA reporting management aligned to the institutional priorities and strategy
* Coordinate and maintain standing governance structures with frequent meetings and connection points at all levels of the firm to ensure alignment, assess progress and to drive results
* Implement the institutional client interaction model including coordination, presentation material creation, objective setting and reporting
* Lead efforts supporting day to day operational and solutions management
* Examine trends, develop insights, and create solutions in order to better support advisors
* Partnering with conference services to deliver exceptional education and conference events.
