Employment Type:Part time Shift:Day ShiftDescription:You would be responsible to operate conventional, fluoroscopic, and portable radiology equipment to obtain routine radiographs of designated body portions according to physician specifi cations. Assists physicians in carrying out examinations by preparing contrast media, assisting in sterile procedures, and the like. This role is in the Outpatient Orthopedic Department.
What you will do:
Performs general radiography. Properly positions patients in order to obtain desired diagnostic results, places protective lead shields on patients, and sets correct technical exposure.
Performs a variety of related clerical tasks such as retrieving previous films, filing, answering phones, relaying messages, completing encounter forms and scheduling
Educate patients and family members so that they have a transparent understanding of the care being provided.
Performs quality checks on equipment in accordance with department procedure. Produces the highest quality radiographs and digital images with the lowest practical dose of radiation in accordance with procedure ordered.
Demonstrates problem solving, conflict resolution, and positive communication through teamwork
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Science or equivalent post-secondary education required. Must be a graduate of an accredited diagnostic radiography program.
A.R.R.T. registered and current State license in radiography.
Minimum of two (2) years of clinical internship and two (2) years of post-educational experience as a Radiologic Technologist. Requires a strong working knowledge of radiographic equipment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
CPR certification
Pay Range: $27.35 - $43.75

Accurately transcribes and carries out all physicians orders and assists with physician visits.
Participates in resident care planning.
Evaluates and is alert to the physical and psychological needs of the residents and responds in accordance with proper nursing techniques and protocol.
Assists with admissions and discharges of residents.
Assists in the management of Nursing Assistants and Hospitality Aides.
Assists with direct resident care as time and responsibilities permit.
Assists with carrying out physician orders.
Performs other functions as directed by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
Current and valid LPN license in the state providing nursing care.
Possesses judgment capabilities, initiative and dependability.
Ability to read, write and understand English well.
Ability to stand, walk, stoop, twist and turn frequently throughout the course of an eight hour shift.
Ability to lift 30 pounds in assisting co-workers with resident lifts, transfers, etc. several times throughout the shift.
Standing and walking distances constantly throughout the campus would be required during the shift in evaluating residents and supporting line staff and (at applicable facilities) respond to emergency needs of the Retirement Community.
Ability to push a med cart in dispensing medications.
Must be able to react quickly and decisively in emergencies and in unexpected behavior of residents.
Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
Ability to communicate to residents at a level they can understand.
