This role blends user experience design with human performance analysis to improve safety, usability, and operational efficiency across aviation systems. The successful candidate will collaborate with developers, engineers, and stakeholders to research user workflows, assess human performance, and design intuitive interfaces and interventions. Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, system engineers, and aviation stakeholders to enhance human-centered design and safety. Research and document user requirements, workflows, and scenarios to inform design and operational improvements. Analyze aviation safety and human performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for intervention. Conduct usability testing, workload analyses, and proactive assessments of proposed operational changes. Develop mockups and UI specifications using tools such as PenPot, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, and Microsoft Office. Lead focus groups, surveys, and expert elicitation sessions to gather user feedback and domain insights. Present research findings and design recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Contribute to the development of detailed research reports and risk mitigation strategies. Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Factors, Engineering, Psychology, UX Design, or a related discipline.
