Role Purpose Statement
The Warehouse Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective receiving, storage, inventory management, and distribution of food, frozen goods, packaging, and operational supplies within LSG Sky Chefs' supply chain model. This role ensures product integrity, cost control, and compliance with company and regulatory standards while leading a team in a fast-paced, 24/7 airline catering environment.
As a vital member of our operations team, the Materials Operations Supervisor plays a hands-on role on the floor, managing inventory and frozen food logistics, coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, and supporting production needs. Main Accountabilities
Oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of food and beverage products, including inbound and outbound shipments.
Ensure all products are handled in line with company policies, procedures, and best practices in supply chain management.
Conduct product inspections to identify damage or spoilage and manage quality control throughout the supply chain.
Maintain accurate inventory by reconciling records with physical counts, utilizing SAP systems for data management.
Order and receive supplies and materials through SAP, ensuring seamless communication with suppliers.
Schedule and supervise warehouse staff, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain processes and meet financial and customer requirements.
Provide leadership and guidance to warehouse staff, including training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
Manage company and customer-owned merchandise from receipt through issuance to production.
Monitor and control food cost variances, determining par levels and order quantities based on airline specifications, menus, and vendor lead times.
Ensure compliance with customer specifications, quality standards, FDA, HACCP, safety, health, and environmental regulations.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain.
Background in warehouse operations, ideally within food production or catering environments.
Demonstrated success in leading teams, managing daily operations, and driving performance.
3-5 years of experience in purchasing, logistics, inventory, and warehouse management.
Proficiency in forklift operations with a valid license; experience with Variable Production Systems and logistics scheduling.
Familiarity with SAP MM is a plus; strong ability to reconcile inventory and manage data accurately.
Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders.
Proven track record of analyzing product and labor cost variances to improve efficiency.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment and adjust to shifting priorities.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Will perform work in retail stores; frequently driving between retail stores and plant location. Must be able to lift 60 pounds and utilize installation lift equipment. Ability to climb ladders and work with power tools. Overtime may be required. Work is conducted in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. Reviews and maintains production schedule, expedite list and/or work orders.
Welds metal parts together using MIG welding process and any combination of arc welding processes according to a customer or company print.
Studies print, process sheet, or layout on work piece to determine assembly required, and assembly sequence of operation.
Check dimensions of component parts for assure print conformance by use of layout, and/or any required inspection equipment.
Lays out reference lines and machining locations on work piece, according to print.
Operates various power tools.
Uses Bluco or layout table to perform fixture or small lot size assembly work.
Manipulates parts to correct dimensions by heating, clamping, or restraining.
Complete assembly as required, by welding, gas brazing or other methods.
Process completed orders for shipment.

SUMMARY
Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to production schedule. SUMMARY
A Maintenance Technician performs complicated tasks on the maintenance of plant machinery and facilities. Duties may include welding, carpentry, electric, pipe fitting, and plumbing repairs as necessary. Working from plans, sketches, or design. Constructs equipment for plant use.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Include, but are not limited to, the following:
Installs power supply, wiring, and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment such as robots, conveyors, and programmable controllers.
Connects power supply wires to machines and equipment; connects cables and wires between machines and equipment.
Tests continuity of circuit to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components with testing instruments such as ohmmeter, battery, buzzer, and oscilloscope.
Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, lighting fixtures, and conducts repairs.
Tests and/or observes malfunctioning machinery and discusses malfunction with operator and/or manufacturers to diagnose issues. Perform repairs as necessary.
Replaces faulty electrical components of machine such as relays, switches, motors, and positions sensing devices.
Diagnoses and repairs or replaces faulty electronic components, such as printed circuit boards.
Operates as necessary, robot controller, teach pendant, and/or programmable controller to program automated machinery, such as robots to operate automated machinery to test for malfunctions and to verify repairs.
Plans layout of wiring and installs wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildings.
Diagnoses and replaces faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Understands unique customer payment processes and implements strategies that effect prompt payment from customers; Uncovers customer and billing issues and takes appropriate action to resolve those issues preventing customers from making prompt payment
Take proper collection action following established guidelines based on the age and amount of the transactions and the type of account
Follows up on aged accounts receivable items and tracks status of contact and payment by notation of the nature of each contact, results and any follow-up action that must occur. Independently follows through on required actions
Prepare customer statements and aging files, reviews the aging of past due invoices and unapplied payments; including follow up with the customer and/or plants to insure timely resolution of disputed and/or unpaid invoices

What We're Seeking
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
Pick products accurately, minimizing damage, and placing them correctly in totes.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, including immediate spill cleanup.
Ensure temperature-controlled areas remain closed to maintain product quality.
Complete mandatory monthly training sessions.
Handle products to avoid damage, ensuring proper pricing and date coding.
Adhere to safety regulations and participate in safety meetings.
Assist with unloading trucks and organizing the warehouse.
Safely drive and park trucks in the yard, ensuring efficient placement for loading and unloading.
Start and monitor refrigeration units (reefers) to ensure proper temperature control.
Complete the Smith Training Systems certification training to enhance safe driving practices.
Take the temperatures of all inbound products, record all temperatures, document all product that is out of spec and report.
Acts as a yard jockey where applicable. Help to move trucks around yard, into loading docks, performs safety checks, secure trucks, and chocks wheels. (if applicable)
Perform additional tasks as assigned by leads and supervisors
What You'll Need (Qualifications)
Must be at least 18 years of age.

Summary
The Warehouse Kitting Specialist is responsible for assembling kits of components and materials for production and order fulfillment. This role ensures accurate and efficient kitting operations to support manufacturing, customer orders, and inventory management. The position requires attention to detail, organization, and a strong understanding of warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
Kitting & Assembly:
Pick, organize, and assemble kits with the correct parts and materials based on work orders and customer requirements.
Ensure all kits are complete and meet quality standards before distribution.
Identify and report any missing or defective components.
Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate records of kit components, stock levels, and usage.
Assist in cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure accurate stock levels.
Work closely with inventory control teams to manage shortages and replenish stock as needed.
Warehouse Operations:
Follow warehouse processes for receiving, storing, and staging kitted materials.
Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking kitted items.
Maintain a clean and organized kitting area for efficient workflow.
Quality Control & Accuracy:
Verify kit accuracy by cross-checking against bill of materials (BOM) and order specifications.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in handling materials and components.
Communicate with production, logistics, and quality teams to resolve any discrepancies.
