Javadi is a co-founder of LTN and its President and CEO. He is an accomplished entrepreneur and executive leader in both telecom services and IP technology. Javadi brings over 25 years of experience at starting, growing, and running global businesses. Most recently, Javadi was President of NexTone Communications, a privately held provider of software products. Earlier, Javadi was President of Sprint International, where he ran all of Sprint’s businesses, alliances, and relationships outside of the U.S. Under Javadi’s leadership and direction, Sprint built its next generation global Internet backbone. Prior to that, he held increasingly important corporate executive positions, including: head of the billion dollar North American operations of Primus Telecom; president of a wireless messaging unit at G.E. Capital; and vice-president of global sales and marketing at OTI, a start up satellite company that was sold to MCI. Javadi holds a B.Sc and M.Sc in Engineering from MIT, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Amir is a co-founder and the Chief Science Officer at LTN. He is an established expert in building messaging systems and C3I systems. Amir is the initiator of the Spread group communication and messaging toolkit (www.spread.org), which is used in thousands of installations around the world in commercial, academic and government settings. He also led the development of Secure Spread, which includes the first robust key agreement protocols. Amir is a creator of the Spines overlay network platform and the SMesh wireless mesh network, the first seamless 802.11 mesh with fast, lossless handoff (www.smesh.org), as well as the Backhand load balancing and Wackamole NxWay fair-over web clustering projects (www.backhand.org). Amir also serves as a Professor of Computer Science and the Director of the Distributed Systems and Networks lab (www.dsn.jhu.edu) at Johns Hopkins University. Amir’s academic research has been funded by DARPA, NSF, NASA, and the NSA. He was nominated for the agency-wide “Performer with Significant Technical Achievement” DARPA award for 2004, and was awarded the DARPA Dynamic Coalitions program “Bytes for Buck” trophy in 2002. Amir holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, and a Ph.D. from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel.

Joa Ebert is CTO of Make.TV, the leading provider of solutions that open pathways for hyper-local live video to be created and shared between content creators, producers, programmers and advertisers with scale, speed and relevance previously not possible. Make.TV is a division of LTN Global. With a strong background in start-ups and entrepreneurship, Joa co-founded Defrac Inc, for which he raised €500,000 before selling the company to Make.TV. Prior to that, he co-founded Des Pudels Kern GmbH, which then became Audiotool, a complete music production studio available in browsers. He raised a total of €2 million and scaled the platform to 1 million users. He had already started development of Audiotool while working as Senior Flash Developer at Hobnox AG. Prior to that, he was Chief architect of Jooce R&D SARL, a cloud-based desktop OS start-up. Previously, he was web developer at Seitenweise GmbH.An active figure in Flash development, Joa has won a number of awards recognising his contributions to the video industry, including FATC Best Contributor, FATC Most Talented Flash Developer, German Design Council, World Summit Award Germany, Flashforward Award, Grimme Online Award and a Red Dot Award.Joa lives with his wife, two kids and dog in Bielefeld, Germany.
