PATIENT POPULATION: The patient population served can be all patients, including geriatric, adult, adolescent, pediatric, and newborn. This also includes services which affect facility staff, physicians, visitors, vendors and the general public. POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse, the Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech) performs individually assigned patient care activities based upon established patient care policies and procedures. IT Technology I Under the direction of the IT Service Technician Manager, incumbent is responsible for the diagnosis, installation, repair and preventive maintenance of PC's hardware and software related issues.
