POSITION SUMMARY
As an Automotive Tire Technician for Big O Tires, you will be responsible for servicing and performing maintenance of tires and wheels in an accurate and timely manner. You are honest, have a solid work ethic, and high motivation.

Job duties for this position include performing basic maintenance on service vehicles. The Lube and Tire Technician at Monro or General Service Tech as we call it, is an entry level Automotive Technician position and a great way to start your career at Monro. Summary
The High-Bay Freezer (HBF) Technician is responsible to ensure efficient operation of all mechanical equipment for the high-bay freezer and warehouse area. This position will be required to fully understand the purpose and operation of the mechanical equipment and have the ability to make decisions based on sound judgement when a situation dictates.
Key Responsibilities
* Safety of our employees, visitors and contractors is the number one priority for all workers. This position is responsible to help ensure the safe condition of equipment and our facility in accordance with SOPs and Company policies.
* Responsible for performing a variety of skilled duties to include but not limited to the following: painting, carpentry, cement masonry, plumbing, dry wall and/or other recognized crafts for the purpose of maintaining and repairing Simplot owned and operated building facilities.
* Ensures that equipment including, but not limited to batteries, forklifts, chargers, pumps, motors, doors, dock levelers, hydraulic systems and product transport system are properly maintained following the specifications of the Company or the manufacturer.
* Disassembles and reassembles equipment throughout the warehouse area including, but not limited to motors, gearboxes, vales, hydraulic systems, coupler, alignment systems, and weighing systems.
* Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, machinery and facilities as required by the Company and manufacture standards.
* Maintains all shop inventories, tools and equipment. Creates, performs and completes work orders in the system as assigned or as needed.
* Coordinates or schedules additional work as needed.
* Identifies parts needed for work to be done, conducts inventory searches and locates parts.
* Documents, monitors, maintains and assists with reporting of shift events, logging predictive maintenance data and assists with work planning utilizing information systems and productivity software.
* Maintains necessary level of communication with team members and other support groups and does so in a participative management style conducive with operations goals.
* May assist with training other plant personnel.
* Ensures that additional accountabilities require by management are handled in a manner necessary to meet operations standards.
Qualifcations
* High school diploma or equivalent is required. Associates degree or technical certification in related field preferred.
* Two years of industrial mechanical experience required.
* Must be able to perform sound welds in accordance with the qualifications required by applicable welding code, standards, and/or project specifications include wire feed, stick, Heli arc, Oxy-Acetylene and sanitary (food-safe) welds for repair and fabrication required.
* Six months of Forklift operating experience required.
* This position will involve working from heights and the use of fall protection equipment. Such equipment is designed for a worker to weigh (with gear) more than 120 lbs. but no more than 310 lbs.
* Must be able to obtain and maintain self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) certification for entry into low oxygen freezer environment.
* Must be able to obtain and maintain authorized fall protection certification.
