Responsibilities
- Test to check systems and components are secure and working properly.
- Isolate the systems or components that might have caused the problem.
- Drive the vehicle for testing purposes and inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary.
- Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation, clean and lubricate fittings as needed.
- Install a new oil drain plug and new oil filter and communicate oil levels to teammates.
- Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing as well as repairing vehicles.
- Repair or replace worn parts ahead of the vehicle's breakdown or damage.
- Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks.
Qualifications
- Deep understanding of automobiles and speedy diagnostic abilities
- Effective analytical and communication skills and eagerness to improve
- Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- One year in a service department
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Job Description Join a great service team! We are looking for a production bicycle technician. Some of the things you will be doing on a daily basis to help bike riders get out and enjoy their bike rides - First and foremost, repairing bicycles - thorough repair the first time.
Customer service - communicating with the customer any additional needs or update on repair, when needed/
Duties
Duties include but are not limited to:
Meet or exceed shop production standards.
Complete paperwork accurately and fully (record parts used work performed detail of torque tolerance and standard procedures; complete pricing of job ticket) and process to next status or location.
Record and report any deficiencies not addressed by the repair work being done to the customer and or the appropriate leader.
Assist customer in the repair process by sharing product and technical knowledge as appropriate.
Operate cash register as necessary.
Report or record replacement parts inventory and supply shortages to the General Manager. Maintain shop cleanliness including bench and common work-space. Install and adjust speed and gear mechanisms.
Assemble new bicycles when needed.
Install, repair, and replace equipment or accessories, such as handlebars, stands, lights, and seats.
Align wheels.
Disassemble axles to repair, adjust, and replace defective parts, using hand tools.
Install and adjust brakes and brake pads.
Install new tires and tubes.
Clean and lubricate bicycle parts.
Keying in POS bicycle parts needed for that repair - Special Ordering.
Build wheels by cutting and threading new spokes.
Other duties as needed/ assigned.
Requirements
What we are looking for in you to be a good fit on our team-:
Experience preferred working as a technician/ mechanic in a bike shop, but not mandatory.
Interest in working in a team environment.
Strong attention to detail
Ability to maintain open and positive relations with employees and customers
Interest in developing own skills and knowledge
Availability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings and weekends
