First Vehicle Services is a leading provider of diverse fleet management and maintenance services in North America. Since 1981, First Vehicle Services has been providing efficient and cost-effective vehicle management and maintenance services at governments, school districts, petrochemical companies, transit agencies, airports, universities, and private organizations throughout the United States.

About the Position

At this First Vehicle location, we service, repair, and maintain some really cool vehicles and equipment, servicing Loudoun County, Virginia.

Our fleet consists of Dodge, Jeep, Chevrolet, Ford, Nissan, Toyota, and Honda vehicles.
Shifts are Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm or 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. - Weekend work may be needed during winter weathers
Diagnose and perform accurately all phases of vehicle and equipment repair including the repair of brakes, engine tune-ups, suspensions, drive trains, transmission clutches, and other repairs.
Assist with preventative maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections.
Evaluate completed work prior to release and seek approval where required.
Notify supervisor of potentially dangerous equipment and corrective action is taken.
Adhere to FirstGroup standards, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications

A vocational or technical degree in vehicle maintenance is preferred.
Mechanical repair experience with Dodge/Ram vehicles is a plus!
Valid driver's license required.
Virginia State inspection license is highly preferred
3-5 years of automotive or diesel repair employment experience or combination of education & experience.
Must have appropriate mechanic's toolset.
ASE certifications preferred. Must participate in company ASE certification program (company training, testing, and bonuses provided!)
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Be subject to a drug test.
