Responsible for monitoring and operating oil refinery processing equipment and assures production quality standards are met. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Constantly monitor and control plant operations to carry out the established operations plan, anticipating and solving problems in a timely manner, and identifying opportunities for improvement. Physically monitor and maintain within normal ranges operating parameters including process temperatures, vacuums, pressures, flows and levels to evaluate automatically controlled process. Take product samples per product specifications, analyze product quality and record resulting test data. Maintain logs of instrument readings observed during hourly rounds.
