Position summary:

Tasks:
* Performs maintenance to manufacturer specifications with industry accepted work procedures using computers, tools, technical manual(s); studies best practices to test parts and systems for proper operation; replaces worn or faulty parts and components; and communicates additional automobile maintenance needs for the best operation of the guest's vehicle.
* Communicates with Service Advisers and the Service Manager enthusiastically to complete their needs: utilize computer equipment to diagnose to brand specifications; maintaining rapport with co-workers and guests; suggesting repair options; and responding to inquiries.
* Follow checklists and company processes to examine critical operations and parts; repairs or replaces parts and components; and identifies and recommends work procedures.

* Updates job knowledge by participating in ASE and Automotive brand certification classes, state and federal automobile inspection standards, county emissions programs, technical manual reading, professional publications, and other educational opportunities. Position Overview:
As an Experienced Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of vehicles. You will work with a dynamic team and provide excellent service to our customers. You should have a strong knowledge of automotive systems and troubleshooting techniques.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair vehicles with a focus on customer satisfaction and quality workmanship.
Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake checks, and tire rotations.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
Maintain a clean, organized work environment and adhere to safety protocols.
Communicate with customers about vehicle issues, repairs needed, and potential costs.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Automotive Technician.

Experience with both foreign and domestic vehicles is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

THE VITAL ROLE YOU HAVE AS OUR MASTER AUTO TECHNICIAN:
You spend your time diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and drivetrain systems. You execute precision TIG/MIG welding and custom fabrication, building and modifying components for suspension, body, and chassis systems. A key part of your expertise involves diagnosing and rebuilding carbureted and fuel-injected engines (gas and diesel) and troubleshooting 4x4 drivetrains, gears, and differentials. As a lead expert, you mentor Level I and II technicians, enforce shop standards, and interpret complex schematics. You also communicate estimates and project updates to customers, support general shop operations (installation, testing), and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

7+ years of experience as a mechanic/fabricator in a custom or performance shop environment
Master-level skill in fabrication, welding, and custom installation
A valid driver's license with an insurable record
A deep understanding of drivetrain, electrical, and suspension systems

Comfortable working in a variety of shop conditions (heat, cold, noise)
Ability to lead by example, manage projects, and mentor junior team members
Ability to lift, maneuver, and position heavy components (with or without assistance)

At DPG, SA-TECH is looking to hire a Petroleum Oil and Lubricants (POL) Technician onto our team to support program efforts and contribute to success at this major DoD Test Facility.
Specific duties include (but are not limited to):
Provide ground services for aircraft.
Fuel aircraft with aviation gas (AVGAS) and NATO Grade F-24 jet fuel (F24)
Direct ground traffic, secure aircraft in parking position, and provide other aircraft support.
Operate a variety of aviation ground support equipment.
Other duties as assigned.
Work Conditions:
Work is mostly performed outdoors under changing weather conditions may be required depending on the location of equipment.
Must be familiar with safety processes, procedures and concerns in relation to working on active and busy flight lines.
May be required to lift and handle heavy items (50 lbs.).
Stand/walk, climb, stoop, bend and push and pull for extended periods of time.
Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for work tasks that require such protective gear.

Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
