Staffworks are searching for Sheet Metal Mechanics. You will be responsible for installing metal and fiberglass board HVAC systems. This role requires a strong understanding of duct installation, blueprints, and job-site safety practices.Responsibilities Assemble and install metal ductwork and fiberglass board. Read and interpret blueprints and sheet metal shop drawings. Perform all phases of duct installation, including spiral, rectangular, double-wall, and welded systems. Identify and work with various types of duct connectors. Complete hanger layout and perform field measurements as needed. Maintain an organized work area and ensure all hand tools are in good condition. Lift and install heavy materials at elevated heights. Required Education, Experience & Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience installing sheet metal and fiberglass ductwork on commercial and/or residential projects. Must provide personal sheet metal hand tools (company supplies power tools). Ability and willingness to follow job-site instructions. Comfortable lifting heavy materials and working at heights.
