Complies with federal and state vehicle/equipment requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards. Maintains vehicle/equipment appearance by cleaning, washing, and painting. Maintains vehicle/equipment records by annotating services and repairs. Keeps shop vehicle/equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs. Contains costs by using warranty; evaluating service and parts options. Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt. Benefits Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401K Retirement Plan AFLAC Short & Long Term Disability Vacation Personal Time Off Sick Leave Holiday Pay Employee Discounts Responsibilities Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc. Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed.
