Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
Diagnoses cause of any malfunction and communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.
Communicates with service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
Road tests vehicles when required or refers to the test technician.

Supervises work of any apprentice technicians as assigned.

Ensures that customers' cars are kept clean.
Qualifications:

Your Mission:

Respond to emergency service calls and equipment failures to minimize downtime at customer sites.
Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal environmental and safety regulations, including UST/AST requirements.

Interface professionally with customers, vendors, inspectors, and site personnel.
Adhere to and promote all company safety policies, including lockout/tagout, confined space, and hazardous material handling.

What You Bring to the Table:
MUST HAVE- Certifications or training such as Gilbarco Passport, Gilbarco Dispenser, Gasboy, FuelMaster, Verifone, Wayne Dispenser, ICC Service Tech Certifications, UST/AST operator certifications, or HAZWOPER.
Hands-on experience with fueling systems, including dispensers (Gilbarco, Wayne), submersible pumps, piping, and tank systems.
Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and electronic equipment, including circuit diagnostics and component replacement.
Background in servicing or installing POS systems, tank monitors (e.g., Veeder-Root), and interstitial monitoring systems.
Experience working with tools, test equipment, and diagnostic software used in fuel system servicing.
Prior work in field service environments, responding to on-site issues with minimal supervision.
Certifications or training such as Gilbarco Passport, Gilbarco Dispenser, Gasboy, FuelMaster, Verifone, Wayne Dispenser, ICC Service Tech Certifications, UST/AST operator certifications, or HAZWOPER.

Your Mission:
Install, maintain, and repair fuel dispensers, underground and aboveground storage tanks, piping systems, and related petroleum equipment.
Troubleshoot and service electrical and mechanical components of fuel systems, including sensors, leak detection, and monitoring systems.
Calibrate and test fuel dispensing systems and POS interfaces to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.

What You Bring to the Table:
MUST HAVE- Certifications or training such as Gilbarco Passport, Gilbarco Dispenser, Gasboy, FuelMaster, Verifone, Wayne Dispenser, ICC Service Tech Certifications, UST/AST operator certifications, or HAZWOPER.
Hands-on experience with fueling systems, including dispensers (Gilbarco, Wayne), submersible pumps, piping, and tank systems.
Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and electronic equipment, including circuit diagnostics and component replacement.
Background in servicing or installing POS systems, tank monitors (e.g., Veeder-Root), and interstitial monitoring systems.
Experience working with tools, test equipment, and diagnostic software used in fuel system servicing.

Riverside Automotive in St George Ut and Auto Performance in Provo Ut is seeking a Full-Time ASE Master Automotive Technician to join our team of skilled, hardworking professionals. $80k-$110K annually. Schedule is M-F, half days on Saturdays.
Hiring in both our Provo and St. George Utah Locations.

Master Automotive Technician - Essential Duties
Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
Diagnoses cause of any malfunction and communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.
Communicates with service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
Road tests vehicles when required or refers to the test technician.
Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools and events.
Supervises work of any apprentice technicians as assigned.
Reports machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor.
Ensures that customers' cars are kept clean.
Qualifications:
3 - 5 years of experience as a Master Automotive Technicians or Experienced Line Technicians
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Automotive Technical training or Trade School degree strongly preferred
Valid UT Driver's License and a good driving record
Strong Mechanical & Electrical diagnostic aptitude and willingness to learn
Proficiency in basic computer skills required
Excellent Customer Service skills required
Have your own automotive tool set
ASE Certifications strongly considered
Professional appearance and work ethic required
Produce 40 to 50 billed Labor hours per week
Service Writer skills a plus
