The RT Vent Field Clinician is a Respiratory Therapist providing respiratory patient care to Vent patients for optimal outcomes. Provides respiratory care to patients in alternate sites in accordance with AdaptHealth's policies and procedures. Respiratory care will be preventative, rehabilitative, and palliative in nature. The RT will utilize all the resources available within the agency and community to accomplish care objectives. This position will provide education and care to the patient and communicate with team, physicians and referral sources and other patient agencies ensuring prompt attention to patient care issues. The Technician is a heavy equipment mechanic that specializes in maintaining and repairing cranes. This position may perform routine maintenance, like lubricating parts, as well as fixing other problems when the crane malfunction. The Technician position work in a safety-first type of environment. HCSG is a 24/7 service company that requires technicians to be available on-call and provide after hour or even weekend services as required due to customer needs. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES * Must be able to be on-call and provide after hour services as required. * Troubleshooting, repairing, inspecting, and upgrading industrial hoists and cranes in the field at customer locations. * Perform OSHA required hoist and crane inspections and generating inspection reports and repair orders. * Communicate with the Service Manager and Branch Manager during the day so that work can be scheduled and completed on a daily basis. * Operate tools, equipment, and vehicles in a safe and responsible manner. Responsible for the overall maintenance of the physical plant, under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Participate in all types of maintenance projects. Perform electrical repairs on items such as appliances, fixtures, switches, outlets, circuits, etc. Perform plumbing work such as cleaning stoppages, replacing fittings, etc. Replace broken glass, tile, carpet, screens, garbage disposals, fixtures, appliances, draperies and locks. Paint, interior and exterior. Perform carpentry work such as fitting doors, freeing windows, replacing and building shelves, sanding and refinishing floors. Assist in custodial work, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, emptying trash, cleaning windows, etc., in common areas and in vacancies when necessary. Assist in grounds work when necessary, including grounds policing. Repair concrete, masonry, roofing and fencing, when required. Train other staff members. Participate in a standby emergency schedule for evening, weekend and holiday coverage. Be responsible for stock control and utilization of maintenance materials. Assist the resident manager in scheduling annual apartment inspections. Be responsible for refurbishing of apartments prior to resident occupancy.
