Responsibilities:
Maintain, erect, repair, and troubleshoot rides and attractions following Manufacturer and Engineering specifications to ensure their safe and efficient operation with supervision.
Perform daily inspections, maintenance, and repair of rides and attractions for safe operation utilities in the assigned area and notify management and or Engineering of any hazards, defects, and ride or guest related problems that may endanger the guest, staff and the general public.
Maintain OSHA Safety Standards, ride manufacturers, and Safety policies and procedures of Six Flags.
Conduct winterization and winter maintenance of ride units and stations in assigned area.
Ensure that all rides are clean and visually in compliance with manufacturer's specifications, and the expectations of our guests and management team.
Keep all records and documentation updated daily, accessible and organized.
Perform all other duties as required.

Responsibilities:
Diagnose Vehicle Issues: Analyze customer concerns, utilize diagnostic tools, and inspect vehicle systems to identify malfunctions.
Repair and Maintain Vehicles: Develop repair plans, obtain authorization, repair/replace components, and test functionality according to specifications.
Customer Communication: Explain technical issues, provide estimates, and update customers on service progress.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on new technologies and procedures.
Additional Duties:
Conduct test drives for diagnosis.
Research technical information and collaborate on complex issues.
Recommend preventative maintenance.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications:
-- Demonstrates a high “HQ” (Hospitality Quotient) consisting of kindness & optimism, intellectual curiosity, work ethic, empathy, self-awareness, and integrity.
-- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
-- Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of dealership technician experience (Jaguar Land Rover preferred)
-- Certifications: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Completion of an automotive technician training program or equivalent experience preferred. Jaguar Land Rover factory certifications preferred but not required. Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications is a strong plus.
-- Technical Expertise: Possess strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
-- Diagnostic Proficiency: Skilled in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
-- Repair Proficiency: Able to perform a range of repairs, from basic maintenance to complex overhauls.
-- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
-- Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers.
-- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, steering, electrical, air conditioning, etc.
Accurately assess/diagnose problems utilizing system diagnostics and testing
Perform thorough, efficient, timely and quality repair work
Using Diagnostic Equipment and Special Service tools to test vehicle components
Repairing vehicles under warranty to manufacturer specifications
Provide clear communication (both written and verbal) to service advisor with an estimate of any additional repairs, as needed.
Maintain safety standards at all time and keep a safe, neat work area
Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, honesty and consistent appropriate behavior with co-workers, management and customers
Test drive vehicle to assure quality completion of repair
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a mid-to-advanced level mechanic/technician at a shop or dealership
Tech Schooling or ASE's required
BMW or MINI factory training is preferred
Electrical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills are a plus
Proficient in troubleshooting and computer diagnosis
Good foundation of automotive technology
Ability to drive Manual Transmission
Must be able to perform heavy lifting
Must have Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
COMPENSATION:
The Service Technician Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $32.00 and $50.00. The position may also pay a production bonus based on individual or team performance that may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit.
Hourly and Flat Rate based on experience and certifications.

Service Technician Responsibilities
Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
Service Technician Qualifications
2+ years of Service Technician experience
Subaru Certified
High school diploma or equivalent, ASE Certification required
B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair
Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
