This is a full-time, ongoing, lecturer teaching position located at the University of Maine at Machias campus. The successful candidate is expected to serve on the Machias campus of the University of Maine. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching 12 credits of math courses each fall and spring semester in support of the general education curriculum, and other majors requiring specific quantitative skills. Courses will be a combination of algebra, precalculus, calculus I and II, applied statistics, and non-majors math. Courses will be taught primarily in-person, though asynchronous, and/or distance synchronous courses may be required depending on student needs. Courses are often taught in coordination with instructor teams from UMaine Orono. In addition to instruction, this person will be expected to participate in service to the Machias campus through committee work and student advising.
