The Receptionist/Clerical position is responsible for verifying and checking in all visitors prior to building entry. The position is located within a secure facility. The role is also responsible to provide support for the building managers and other staff in the operations center for day-to-day business matters.

The receptionist is the first point of contact for clients, candidates, and vendors entering the building, therefore, they play an extremely important role in the representation of the organization! We are seeking someone with excellent communication skills who is professional, friendly, and detail oriented.

• The Receptionist/Clerical position’s responsibility includes handling of all phone calls, faxes and emails sent to the main contact addresses. This position is stationed at the front desk of a secure operations center and greets all visitors, and ensures adherence to applicable security procedures.
• Ensures that visitors comply with building entry requirements. When required, signs in the visitor, issues security badges and contacts the individual that the visitor is scheduled to see.
• Supplies administrative support services.
• Performs routine office or clerical support tasks according to well-established procedures. Examples of work performed may include: receiving, logging in, sorting and distributing mail, preparing outgoing mail, photocopying, filing, posting or proofing data, or answering telephone calls and recorded messages.
• Work performed may also include: composing routine correspondence, logging correspondence, scheduling meetings or appointments, maintaining the conference room schedule, maintaining/processing records and invoices, arranging travel, screening and directing incoming calls, providing information, maintaining files, or transcribing dictation.
• Prepares documents using Microsoft applications; formats, proofs, edits documents for errors.
• Setting up the conference room for meetings.
• All other tasks assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Must be able pass a stringent state law enforcement background check.
• Must be able to pass a drug test prior to start date, and biannually throughout employment.
• High school degree or equivalent and one year of experience in a position of similar requirements or equivalents.
• Knowledge of office principles.
• Skills in interpersonal relationships.
• Ability and willingness to work alternate work schedules.
• Skills in the use of Windows-based applications.
• Ability to write meeting minutes and file all materials.
• Ability to coordinate real-time activities and priorities.
• Skills in use of all office-related equipment.
• Ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing.
• Daily verifying that all material quantities in the lobby are at the appropriate levels..

Our Housekeeping Department is seeking a dependable and flexible person to work as a Housekeepers Laundry Porters to maintain proper cleanliness and sanitation throughout the healthcare facility.

The Housekeepers Laundry Porters performs assigned floor care functions based on the facility’s standards and procedures. Coordinates daily floor cleaning services to include performing routine cleaning assignments, stripping, waxing, buffing, and burnishing all hard floors and carpet extractions. Cleans vacant rooms and general areas as assigned.

The Housekeepers Laundry Porters distributes linen daily or as needed. Picks up empty linen carts daily or as needed. Removes trash / garbage from all assigned areas. Removes soiled laundry from all assigned areas and transport to laundry department as needed. Performs all assigned duties assigned by the Housekeeping Director.

Housekeepers Laundry Porters Responsibilities:

· Ensure cleaning schedules are followed. Routine housekeeping and laundry duties.

· Coordinate daily floor cleaning services with nursing and performing routine cleaning assignments.

· Clean vacant rooms and general areas assigned. Routinely check corners & edgings are kept dust free.

· Accept and put away deliveries as scheduled

· Must be able to work independently.

· Maintain adequate stock of supplies and chemicals. Understanding of DOH inspections.

· Lift, pull, push up to 50 lbs.

Housekeepers Laundry Porters Qualification:

· The ability to read, write, and speak English is essential.

· No formal education required. A high school diploma is desirable.

· Previous experience in a healthcare facility, specifically the housekeeping and laundry department is helpful, however on-site training and orientation provided.

· The ability to provide and follow oral, written, and verbal instruction is vital.

· The ability to fulfill all pre-employment requirements as required by the facility and Lucent.

· Reports equipment and cleaning product needs and or malfunctions to Housekeeping Director in a timely fashion.

· Responsible for the safe and proper use of detergents and chemicals and adheres to all safety precautions.

· Utilizes protective gear in all appropriate functions

· Must be able to work independently.

· Lift, bending, twisting, reaching, pull, push up to 50 lbs.
