The Powertrain Battery ManufacturingEngineering Manager will be responsible for leading a team of engineers in executing Powertrain equipment at Lucid. The Sr. ManufacturingEngineer, Stamping will support the planning and execution of processes and equipment to ensure efficient and reliable production to deliver world-class products on time and cost-effectively. This specifically includes feasibility, Production Capacity Planning, Construction, and supporting logistical planning. They will support cross-functional teams during the development and industrialization phases and drive sound business decisions throughout the product life cycle.
You Will:
Develop manufacturing processes and layouts for efficient product flow
Develop specifications for custom equipment, i.e., RFQ and SOWs
Closely collaborate with external equipment integrators on custom automation equipment design
Validate and characterize new equipment and fixtures for production implementation
Create detailed manufacturing instructions to document new processes
Design manufacturing equipment accessories
Provide manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; and estimating future requirements
Manage internal Lucid Customers, assess needs regarding priorities, deadlines, and quantities, and drive suppliers for on-time deliverables
Support stamping press automation and controls integration, including PLC/HMI troubleshooting and robotics coordination

You Bring:
BS/MS Mechanical Engineering/Industrial Engineering preferred, or equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree

Hands-on experience with industrial controls systems (Siemens TIA Portal, PLC programming, safety circuits, and robotics integration)
Familiarity with MES systems and SAP for production tracking and material management

Use data analytics platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SQL) to visualize trends, downtime drivers, and efficiency losses.

Qualifications:

We are currently seeking a Senior Fastener Design Engineer. This position requires an experienced professional responsible for the design and development of joints and bolted fasteners across the vehicle. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.
Role
Support the Design Engineer's development activities in the selection of fasteners based upon usage, coating and part strength to meet their joint requirements
Collaborate with cross functional teams such as Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Service, Purchasing, Suppliers and other internal and external partners to develop robust joint solutions to facilitate world class designs
Required to create and maintain 3D standard parts & 2D drawings using Catia V6
Strive to achieve commonization of fasteners with assembly-friendly solutions
Participate in the root cause analysis of fastener related quality issues as well as other continuous improvement activities as required
Design custom fastening solutions when necessary
Diligently follow industry standards where applicable
Interface with fastener suppliers to develop, release and update engineering specifications, ensure proper material properties, processes, and quality standards
Review test data and undertake post-testing activities including design allowable calculations, and failure mode analysis
Conduct joint analysis and validation in addition to establishing fastener catalog standard to develop a robust mechanical joining strategy for the vehicle
Contribute with CAE team to specify load, determine stress limits and improve fastener analysis method
Perform bolted joint analysis and testing to optimize robustness and minimize the design cost
Track and monitor the progress of fastener selections, releasing and validation activities
Investigate the latest fastening technologies and guide the deployment into future Lucid vehicles in the Hardware engineering areas such as powertrain, battery systems, body structures, closures, interiors, and exteriors
Ability to create testing plan and conduct / coordinate physical tests to prove out design concepts and ensure performance targets are being achieved
Coordinate and communicate with interfacing suppliers to ensure requirements are being met
Effectively provide direction to others and negotiate a balanced solution
Determine required tolerances using GD&T
Testing experience (especially ultrasonics and strain gauge)
Torque audit experience (needs to be familiar with the various tools used to apply and read torque)
Theoretical calculation experience (for hard and soft joints)
Travel domestically and internationally as required
Qualifications
5+ years of expertise in automotive Fastener engineering at OEM or supplier desired
Experience in fastener mechanical testing such torque to failure
Experience in the criteria required for fastener selections and recommendations
Experience performing design reviews of fastener joints
Solid understanding of GD&T standards, material selections, and DFM principles
Design release engineering experiences including engineering change management and project management experiences desired
Proven 3D CAD skills, proficient with CATIA V5/V6 or similar software
Hands-on practical experience in prototype assembly and production assembly with the willingness to assemble your own parts
Experience in technology, system and supplier selections
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent from ABET accredited institution or equivalent professional automotive fastening experience
Advantageous
Knowledge of fasteners and the automotive quality standards (APQP, PPAP, D-FMEA, GD&T)
material compatibility and the physics of joint loads
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial
Detail oriented personality with a determined problem-solving attitude using an Engineering first principles approach
Proof of excellence in your past position, while demonstrating profound creativity in resolving mechanical design problems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting to management

We are seeking a highly motivated Process Sustaining Engineer to join our team and drive excellence across our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Logistics, Manufacturing, Product Engineering, and New Product Introduction to design, implement, and optimize robust manufacturing processes. Key responsibilities include achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), leading change management initiatives, supporting quality control and ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems, and driving continuous improvement using Six Sigma methodologies to meet safety, delivery, cost, and quality objectives.
Responsibilities and Functions:
* Monitor the key performance indicator metrics (scorecard) to drive actions to improve safety, productivity, quality while decreasing cost and inventory.
* Design robust manufacturing processes to deliver high volume production with a high safety standards and ergonomic conditions.
* Maintain work instruction sheets (WIS)
* Design fixtures (Assistance and locating strategy fixtures).
* Develop First Time Through (FTT) targets
* Establish a strong network with Engineering (PVE/NPI), Launch and/or Advanced manufacturing to support required changes to various products.
* Evaluate change impacts on the GA area facilities, tooling and processes by evaluating project time lines, requesting FMEA's, Safety Risk Assessments, layout changes and validating process final feasibility to deliver a process that meet the Safety, Quality and Delivery performance expectations.
* Drive the change management (PCR/ECR/DR) process by ensuring compliance to communicate and coordinate the change with the production team.
* Coordinate tooling and facility changes and equipment installations with the Tooling & Facilities engineer
* Serves as a liaison between production and the supporting areas (Launch, PVE, NPI, IE, Logistics, Supplier) regarding any process change, deviation process or production issue.
* Utilize analytic problem-solving skills, including knowledge of 8D, Six Sigma, DOE, or similar certifications/ disciplines to drive continuous improvement initiatives for safety, cost, delivery and quality.
* Apply lean manufacturing principles to reduce and avoid different types of waste.
* Responsible for achieving quality targets (FTT) including the development of quality control plans and statistical process control (SPC) that supports variability reduction (Six Sigma)
* Lead the team throughout the Root Cause and Containment Analysis (RCCA) process to implement Interim (ICA) and permanent (PCA) corrective actions for quality concerns.
* Participate during line balancing activities with production and the involved supporting areas (IE, Material Flow Eng, MES, Tooling)
* Maintain and verify the Bill of Material (B.O.M) and the Bill of Process (B.O.P) to ensure the manufacturing process is running at the latest level.
* Support the productive areas for having a better understanding about the process (Bill of Process, Critical to Safety and Critical to Quality)
* Responsible to follow up the achievement of Quality Management System (QMS-ISO 9001) in the manufacturing areas
* Ensure For New Model Programs there is an Ergo Assessment, Safety Risk Assessment and a Work Station Readiness, and issues were identified and documented for a proper follow up.
* Develop and implement PFMEA standards and policies
* Identify, trial, and implement any new tools, equipment and processes that could improve quality, delivery, safety and manpower efficiency
* Develop and implement training programs for production associates
* Prepare and procure all items for workstation readiness before and during launches (Static and Dynamic readiness)
Expected Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or STEM Degree, Master's preferred
* Minimum 4+ years of experience in manufacturing Process
* General understand of structuring Bill of Material
* Experience working with the following equipment: robotics, end of arm tooling, pick and place automation, position sensors, material handling, fluid dispensing, deflection analysis, vision systems, conveyor, and laser cleaning/ metrology
* Proven experience in designing jigs, fixtures, and tooling to support manufacturing and assembly processes.
* Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, Siemens NX, Autodesk Inventor, or equivalent 3D design platforms.
* Strong understanding of design-for-manufacturability (DFM) principles, with a focus on automotive industry standards and best practices.
* Manufacturing processes and methods knowledge
* Ability to interpret and apply engineering drawings, design standards, and technical specifications.
* Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, quality, and production) to ensure fixture designs meet performance, safety, and cost requirements.
* Familiarity with material selection, manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, welding, additive manufacturing), and surface treatments relevant to fixture design.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in design validation and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Possesses strong presentation skills and communicates clearly and professionally at various levels both inside and outside the company
