MAIN FOCUS: The Director of CRM Operations, Data & Reporting oversees the design, integrity, and optimization of the Foundation's CRM, translating organizational needs into durable data systems and actionable insights. WHAT YOU'LL DO...
The Director of CRM Operations, Data and Reporting connects the over-arching enterprise-wide meaning of data fields in the CRM to key business processes in the Foundation. The Director partners closely with other teams and Advancement Services colleagues to establish durable, regularly updated, robust CRM data structures that support dashboards, lists, reports, and deliver business insights that will drive fundraising success and propel our mission.
The Director supports the Foundation's data strategy by designing and maintaining data structures, ensuring accurate and timely data flows in and out of the CRM system, and enabling colleagues to leverage data for meaningful insights.
The Director manages a team of data professionals and a project manager; setting standards, delivering timely and high-quality results, and providing opportunities for learning and growth. This role is one of the key leaders of the project team to migrate the current fundraising database to a new platform over the next 2 to 3 years. This role reports to the Associate Vice President, Advancement Services and supervises the Assistant Director, Database Administration, Data and Reporting and the Project Manager, Advancement Services.
The compensation range for this role is $135,000-$155,000 annually.
YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR...
Acting as the Foundation's primary owner of the fundraising CRM.
Partnering as a key advisor and lead business analyst with teams across the Foundation to maintain existing and design new data structures that are sustainable.
Maintaining a holistic view of CRM to ensure robust data structures and that work is not duplicated, ensuring CRM and its use is optimized, standardized, and scalable.
Leading all data acquisition and data integrity workflows.
Establishing a culture of shared ownership for data between Advancement Services and subject matter expert/end user teams, including protocols for data structure evaluation and design, proofing, documentation, and maintenance.
Developing a strong data proofing culture and workflows that the whole team owns, developing checks of all data flows out of CRM, whether regular or ad-hoc data requests.
Overseeing the building of a long-term sustainable CRM data system by stewarding a culture of effective documentation, cross-training and more.
Participating in planning and implementation of upgrades; seeking opportunities for automation; partnering closely with IT.
Recommending new approaches, procedures, and processes to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
Functioning as a member of the leadership team within Advancement Services; partnering with Prospect Development and Gift Administration as needed.
Designing, implementing and maintaining a high-quality, Foundation development-wide CRM training program in partnership with Assistant Director of Database Administration.
YOU MUST HAVE...
A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
5+ years' experience managing fundraising, development and/or alumni databases.
3+ years' experience supervising direct reports.Experience with database management and optimizing business process workflows.
Experience creating and proofing reports.
Experience cross-referencing data sets.
Proficient in MS Office including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
Advanced skills with Excel.

This leader provides forward-looking analysis, modeling, and forecasting to support informed decision-making across the organization and to ensure financial management aligns with the Foundation's goals and long-term growth.
The VP Finance also manages the Foundation's $170 million investment portfolio in partnership with an external investment advisor, ensuring disciplined execution of investment policies, compliance with governance standards, and clear and timely reporting to Board committees. In addition, the VP Finance partners in staffing the Audit and Investment & Finance Committees, offering thoughtful guidance and insight to senior leadership to support strong financial governance.

YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR... Leadership & Oversight
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team (currently four staff), ensuring excellence in accounting operations, reporting, and compliance.

Strong knowledge of GAAP, nonprofit accounting, financial budgeting and reporting, nonprofit and investment tax, and cash management.

Responsible for responding to needs of patients, family members and staff, designated in consultation with the Manager, Spiritual Care Services, and functions as a member of the Spiritual Care Service staff. Coordinate all services to a specific in-patient unit(s) or groups; serving as chaplain on assigned patient unit(s); and participate as staff for the Spiritual Care Service in care conferences for such units. Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.
Education: Master's degree in Spirituality, Religious Studies, Divinity or from an accredited graduate program or the equivalent, and at least 4 units of Clinical Pastoral Education at an APCE accredited program.
Experience: Two (2) years of directly related work experience.

Qualifications

The Reimbursement Specialist's primary focus will be claim submissions and follow up. This role will work with various departments within CareDX such as Customer Care, Revenue Cycle and Patient Advocacy teams to ensure timely and accurate submission. Responsibilities are as follows, but not necessarily limited to:
• Commercial or third party billing, client roster invoicing, claim processing, multi level appeals, collections, correspondence review and refunds

• Identify opportunities to streamline claim submission process in order to gain efficiencies

General Description
The Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) performs testing in the CLIA-certified CareDx Reference laboratory, participates in quality control, quality assurance and troubleshooting activities, and leads testing for special research and development studies.
A CLS performs duties under general direction, carrying out work assignments in accordance with policies and objectives established by the Clinical Laboratory Manager (CLM) or designee. A CLS is expected to plan and organize his or her own work, determining work methods and assisting in the determination of priorities and deadlines. A CLS is responsible for the proficient performance of his or her own work assignments. Completed work is reviewed by the CLM or designee to verify the achievement of expected results.

• Maintain confidentiality of personal health information (PHI).
• Identify problems that may affect test performance or results and, following established protocols, correct problems or escalate to Clinical Laboratory Manager, technical supervisor, clinical consultant or lab director.
• Identify test systems that deviate from acceptable performance specifications and follow established policies and procedures to correct operation.
• Document corrective actions taken when test systems deviate from established performance specifications.
• Teach/train CareDx policy, methods and techniques to new employees; may perform in-service and competency testing of employees.
• Participate in development and validation of new, complex assays and technology transfer and interactions with other groups.
• Participate in drafting and developing standard operating procedures for tasks in which proficiency has been demonstrated.
• Represent the Reference lab testing, quality control and quality assurance program in interactions with other groups.
• Under direction of the CLM, investigate and follow-up on proficiency testing, quality control results and patient testing that does not meet standards.
• Perform additional duties and projects assigned by the Clinical Laboratory Manager.
• Demonstrate knowledge of, and support, the CareDx mission, vision, value statements, standards, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards, and ethical behavior.
• Comply with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations governing clinical laboratory operations.
Additional duties and responsibilities:
• May perform phlebotomy duties as needed.

• Must be able to consistently complete testing of a standard batch of samples within established time frames
• Review and follow up incomplete testing as needed.
• Must be able to consistently complete testing without repeats due to technical errors at levels established by annual performance or laboratory goals.
• Must be able to perform quality control testing, analyze data and prepare reports for management review within established time frames.
Qualifications
• Held California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license for over 3 year preferred
-Acceptable licenses include Clinical Laboratory Scientist (Generalist), Clinical Chemist Scientist, Clinical Microbiologist Scientist, and Clinical Genetics Molecular Biologist Scientist
• BS/BA in a biology-related science
• Demonstrated proficiency in the performance of molecular testing techniques (PCR, real-time PCR, etc.) highly desirable
• Experience in immunology, microbiology or related fields preferred
• 2+ years experience performing high-complexity testing in a clinical laboratory
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Demonstrated analytical skills, including working with databases and Excel
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with CareDx employees at all levels as well as customers and vendors.
• Demonstrated understanding of a disease with complex treatment algorithms
• Recent phlebotomy experience desired
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing, within the work group
