Job Description: Job Title: Temporary Core Logger Location: Eureka, Nevada Duration: Temporary (Project-Based) Department: Mine and Technical Services Temporary position with potential for extension based on project needs Position Summary: We are seeking detail-oriented and safety-conscious Temporary Core Loggers to support our geology team. This role involves logging RC Chips and core from current drilling programs and relogging historic core from archived drill holes. The successful candidates will work closely with geologists to ensure accurate, consistent, and high-quality geological data collection and entry. Key Responsibilities: Log geological RC/core from active drill programs, including lithology, alteration, mineralization, structure, and geotechnical features. Re-log historic RC/core to standardize and update legacy data to current logging protocols. Capture high-resolution core photographs and maintain organized core trays and storage. Enter data accurately into digital logging systems (e.g., Excel, ac Quire, or other geological databases). Assist with core sampling, labeling, and preparation for assay submission. Assist with drill visits when needed. Maintain a clean and safe core logging area, adhering to all site safety protocols. Communicate effectively with geologists and other team members to ensure data quality and consistency. Identify and report any discrepancies or issues in historic core or data records. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Geology or similar field preferred. Knowledge and experience in identifying rock types, alterations and minerals in RC chips and core technical. Previous experience in RC/core logging or geological fieldwork preferred. Knowledge of geological terminology and rock identification. Familiarity with RC/core logging software and data entry tools is an asset. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
