General Description of Duties and Responsibilities: Due to grant restrictions this facility is a female facility The Facility Manager manages RHCC facilities for women recovering from substance abuse. This position is responsible for administrative duties such as scheduling and monitoring all facility staff in their daily activities, working as part of a treatment team, and completing required paperwork. This position requires abilities in shift scheduling, knowledge about family substance abuse issues, and an understanding of addiction as a disease. Position characteristics also include the ability to interact in a professional manner with outside agencies, clients and staff. The ability to work independently and be on call for the facility is an important component of this position.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
1. Oversee all daily operational issues at the facility.
2. Acts as the manager for the permanent and part time facility staff to include but not be limited to shift scheduling.
3. Complete required paperwork to facilitate the operation of the facility and to provide necessary data to RHCC/PCS
4. Coordinate services wit other PCS staff. Participate in clinical staff meetings as scheduled to insure proper coordination of services, staffing, of house and discussion of each client's progress.
5. Assume responsibility for purchasing of facility supplies. Develop systematic approach to purchasing which will allow the facility to maximize current resources.
6. Conduct initial client orientation upon admission to facility.
7. Assist clinical team in implementing a comprehensive person-centered plan with each resident that will speak to their development of basic living skills and a lifestyle supportive of long-term recovery.
8. Maintain facility vehicle with regard to regular maintenance schedule and in adherence to RHCC Transportation Policies and Procedures.
9. Provide client transportation when necessary.
10. Inspect facility grounds and apartments and report findings to Program Director and landlord if appropriate.
11. Report infectious disease occurrences to Director of Patient Services per RHCC Policy and Procedure.
12. Assist Director of Patient Services in quarterly Infectious Disease Inspection.
13. Maintain client confidentiality.
Requirements
1. 21 years of age
2. Knowledge of substance as disease, and knowledge of programs for women, their children and minorities.
3. Minimum of an associate's degree in a human service field is preferred.
4. Experience in substance abuse residential services for women and their children.
5. Professional communication skills in interacting with individuals and outside agencies and groups.
6. Competency with basic computer skills.
7. Valid North Carolina driver's license.
8. Ability to work a flexible schedule.

Perform interviews with individuals and/or families to aid in identifying presenting problems, assessing mental status and dangerousness, gathering relevant facts of psychosocial history, and assigning accurate diagnoses (using all five Axes of the current DSM manual) that will help determine the best intervention to help the individual and his or her family achieve stated goals.
Provide individual, group, and family therapy to individuals of all ages using person-centered philosophies and best practices in all service delivery.
Provide expertise in assessing psychiatric crises and crisis intervention while working closely with psychiatrists.
Maintain necessary medical records in compliance with state, federal, and agency guidelines.
Assist individuals and families in meeting other psychosocial needs by referring them to appropriate outside agencies (such as doctors, social services, and Christian Ministries) and providing information needed within the guidelines of confidentiality standards.
Provide crisis assessments, stabilization, and service coordination in order to de-escalate crisis and potential crisis situations in an effort to maintain lowest level of care that promotes safety.
Provide coverage or back-up for Emergency Services during clinical hours and on-call coverage after hours and on weekends as needed.
Maintain licensure as required by licensing board and attend educational trainings/seminars to remain up-to-date on current best practices.
Maintain positive working relationships within the communities served, including with individuals, families, staff, monitoring and licensing agencies, organizations, funding resources, and other human service agencies.
Be an active participant in the ongoing continuous quality improvement activities of the agency.
Demonstrate knowledge of and comply with all agency policies and procedures.
Provide clinical consultation as required or requested by other professionals within Monarch to provide ongoing professional development and to process difficult client situations that may arise.
Drive and travel to community locations, various agencies, and other outreach destinations as assigned.
