As Vice President for a leading healthcare company Mr. King is responsible for IPRO's digital health strategy including health informatics, product development, digital transformation, cloud & data services, cybersecurity and health information exchange: - Provider Network Data System: measuring and managing provider network adequacy across all issuers public and private in NYS. - Sepsis Reporting Portal: direct feeds of severe sepsis and septic shock patient records captured, measured, and eventually reported via a new NQF risk-adjusted mortality measure; - Clinical Data Registry: allowing QIN-QIO participating providers to connect their EHR systems directly to quality measurement dashboards for Medicare QIO programs; - Bridges to Excellence Clinical Data Portal: an assessment portal for physician groups to attain pay-for-performance incentive payments; - The Southeast Kidney Transplant Coalition: exchanging transplant referral data to enable research into disparities in access and monitor improvements;Mr. King also leads IPRO's health informatics group.
