As President and CEO at Lumiata, Dilawar is leading the company’s growth and transformation as a leader in the AI health analytics market. Backed by Khosla Ventures, BlueCross BlueShield Ventures and Intel Capital, Lumiata provides predictive analytics for managing health costs and risk impacting millions of lives. Prior to joining Lumiata, Dilawar was President at Freshworks where he founded the cloud-based software leader’s U.S. operations, and helped scale the company to more than 100,000 customers worldwide. Backed by Tiger Global, Accel, Google and Sequoia Capital, Freshworks raised $149 million along the way. Dilawar was CEO at Yonja Media Group and launched digital brands in emerging markets. At Yahoo!, Dilawar led the internet pioneer’s platform and infrastructure strategy and business operations. Earlier in his career, Dilawar spent several years in product management in enterprise software launching Siebel’s (now Oracle) integration platform. Dilawar started his career as a management consultant at Ernst & Young and Deloitte Consulting. In parallel to his entrepreneurial track, Dilawar is a leader in civic efforts and advocacy. In 2010, President Barack Obama appointed Dilawar to the President’s Advisory Commission on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. Dilawar led White House’s engagement with entrepreneurs across the US and promoted economic growth, health policy and immigration reform. Dilawar holds an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and earned Bachelors in Computer Science and Economics from the University of Texas at Austin.
