The Solutions Engineer is responsible for understanding clients' needs and designing technical solutions to address them. This role bridges the gap between sales and engineering teams, leveraging expertise to demonstrate how products or services can meet customer requirements. Additionally, the Solutions Engineer often provides technical support and guidance throughout the sales process, ensuring smooth implementation and customer satisfaction.
What You'll Do:
Develop and deliver product demonstrations clearly articulating the specifics of the technology and position the product to best align with customer needs.
Represent the product to customers and at field events such as conferences and seminars.
Provide responses to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs.
Convey voice of the customer into product requirements for development.
Identify and lead the resolution of technical issues of assigned accounts to ensure complete customer satisfaction throughout all stages of the sales cycle.
Collaborate with sales team to understand customer requirements and provide sales support.
Confer with customers and product management to assess equipment needs and determine system requirements.
Work with Product Management to plan and modify products to meet customer needs.
Provide recommended deployment methodologies or architectures.
Create system designs to meet technical requirements of customers.
Assist with live and web demonstrations.
Prepare and deliver technical presentations that explain products or services.
Support field team on mini-fleet/demo installations.
Support Field and Customer Support in solving problems with installed equipment.
Facilitate knowledge transfer to Field Support and other departments for implementation including client needs and expectations.
Work with Field Support and Sales to ensure ongoing satisfaction and eventual realization of the benefits that were articulated during the sales cycle.
Travel: Approximately 50% nationwide

Qualifications:
3+ years of experience as a Solutions Engineer, Technical Sales, or similar role, with proven success in using/presenting/demonstrating hardware and/or software in a sales pursuit, in the context of customer business needs, and an emphasis on business value and customer benefit, preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is also required, including but not limited to Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.

In-depth lifecycle program analysis to identify critical program information (CPI), Critical System Resources (CSR), and their associated vulnerabilities. Provide technical analysis and OPSEC support to SMC or AFSPC Special programs and other associated operations, missions, and organizational elements involved in developing system requirements to associated systems RDT&E.
Minimum Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities
Execute audit programs within defined project timelines, handling high complexity, risk, and subjective judgment. Work independently with periodic review and follow-up.
Participate in audit planning for assigned operational audits or advisory projects. Conduct process interviews and walkthroughs, document key attributes, and strive to become a subject matter expert in scope areas. Refine standards and support junior auditors during planning.
Conduct audit fieldwork in accordance with GIA and IIA standards. Apply the project RACI framework to meet objectives, design testing attribuet per assigned scopes, ensure work papers are complete, and maintain quality and re-performance standards. Contribute to the development of audit methodologies and templates, and recommend scope adjustments based on professional judgment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

As a Test Technician I, you will be instrumental in troubleshooting and repairing Luminator's advanced transportation products, including mobile video, signage, and lighting solutions. You'll work closely with a team dedicated to ensuring quality and reliability in our innovative products.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic systems and components.
Perform component-level repairs on customer-returned products.
Set up and configure test fixtures, mechanical/electrical controls, cabling, and power sources.
Solder through-hole and surface mount components.
Read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
Evaluate digital content for proper formatting.
Ensure all work is conducted in ESD-protected areas.

What We're Looking For:
0-2+ years of experience in a product testing environment.
High School Diploma or equivalent (AS degree preferred).

Understanding of electronic communication protocols (RS232, RS485, J1708, CAN bus, Ethernet) is a plus.
