Luminex Corporation (Luminex) develops, manufactures and sells biological testing technologies and products with applications throughout the life sciences and diagnostics industries. The Company's Multi-Analyte Profiling (xMAP) technology, an open architecture, multiplexing technology, allows simultaneous analysis of up to 500 bioassays from a small sample volume, a single drop of fluid, by reading biological tests on the surface of microscopic polystyrene beads called microspheres. xMAP technology combines this miniaturized liquid array bioassay capability with small lasers, digital signal processors and software. The Company operates in two segments: the technology and strategic partnerships (TSP) segment, and the assays and related products (ARP) segment. On May 24, 2010, Luminex completed the acquisition of 100% of the interest of Bizpac (Australia) Pty. Ltd.

In my experience, the compensation at Luminuex compares to the industry average, experience and wisdom is gained so therefore, compensation will always be greater, in comparison.

What's the diversity at Luminex like?

The representation of diverse demographics within my organization I'm not sure I have a feeling regarding that, to be real.

What brings you the most joy at Luminex?

Personally, the most fulfilling aspect of my job has to be the moment a client confidence is at it's finest and that work to get there is worth it with just that.
