Application configuration for API use cases are centralized in a single YAML or JSON file Express Serverless Platform integrates the following technology around Express Gateway to provide a full-blown microservices and serverless development and management platform: 1) Kubernetes - the container orchestrator for automating deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications 2) LoopBack.io - the enterprise Node.js framework to write microservices and expose APIs 3) Serverless - a framework to abstract writing functions able to run in multiple serverless engines 4) Kubeless - a Kubernetes native serverless engine Business Model: LunchBadger offers Express Gateway as an open-source project. The Express Serverless Platform comes with annual subscription plans based on the number of gateways deployed in production, number of serverless functions, number of users and number of environments.
