FLSA Status Non-Exempt Overview Of Acuity Adaptable Progressive Care Unit The Acuity Adaptable Progressive Care Unit New Graduate and Registered Nurse provides clinical care and coordination skills to every patient served in the unit using the Eskenazi Health model of care, Synergy. The Acuity Adaptable Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse coordinates with the patient, family/loved ones and other healthcare disciplines to ensure care is appropriate to patient care needs. At Eskenazi Health, new acute care nurses are welcomed to the organization through the Linda Hojnacki, RN, Nurse Residency Program. Designed for acute care nurses with less than one year experience and graduate nurses, the residency program supports the transition to practice and prepares nurses to care for complex patients and increasing acuity needs common in hospital settings. The Acuity Adaptable Progressive Care Unit team does take advantage of 6-week self-scheduling where team members request the days they work. We do offer a full time schedule which consists of three 12-hour shifts on either day shift (6:30AM - 7PM) or night shift (7PM - 6:30AM). There are no on-call requirements and team members rotate holidays. What Are Nurse To Patient Ratios?
