The college offers a Tackle Program, or the Prior Learning Assessment program, which awards college credits for a student's ability to demonstrate knowledge of a particular course subject developed outside of the classroom. Admissions are open, allowing any student with a high school diploma or GED to attend. The school has over 40 clubs and organizations to fit your every interest, including media or activism clubs, student government, volunteer groups, and more. Academics offered at the school include the following degree options: * Associate's of Arts * Associate's of Science * Associate's of Applied Science * Certificate Specialization Programs * Diploma Programs These cover a broad range of fields, like Automotive Technology, Computer Information Systems, Health, Physical Education, Movement Science and many more. To meet the community's workforce and personal needs, the college offers continuing education courses. Some classes are also offered online. The school's career services provide students with career planning, job announcements, job searching tips, and more. Tuition is set lower for Luzerne County residents, but financial aid is available to all eligible students in the form of Pell grants, Pennsylvania State grants, federal unsubsidized and subsidized Stafford loans, work-study programs, and more.
