Annual Base Salary for newly appointed CBPOs varies as follows:
GS-9: $61,111 - $124,443 per year
Note: A fully trained CBPO is eligible for up to $45,000 in overtime pay in addition to the starting salary.
Officers are eligible to select from an array of federal employment benefits that include health, dental and other insurance plans, generous annual and sick leave, and participation in the Thrift Savings Plan.
LOCATION INCENTIVES: If you accept one of the duty locations listed below, you may be eligible to receive an additional 15%-25% of your salary each year for the first three (3) years of employment in addition to any overtime pay. Some locations may offer 25% for four (4) years.
Duty locations offering 25% recruitment incentives: Otay Mesa, San Francisco, San Ysidro, and Tecate, CA; Key West, FL; etc.
Duty locations offering 15% recruitment incentives: Honolulu, HI; Portal, ND; etc.

Qualifications:
You qualify for the GS-9 grade level in one of the following ways: experience, education, or a combination of both.
Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level that includes:
Detaining suspected violators of federal, state, or local laws and/or arresting violators using the proper law enforcement methods.
Enforcing laws and regulations relating to importing, exporting, and/or international shipping.
Utilizing intelligence techniques and behavior analysis to identify potential threats.
Conducting interviews in a law enforcement capacity.
Education Substitution: A master's (or higher) degree or an LL.B. or J.D. from an accredited college or university; OR
Combination of Experience and Education: A combination of specialized experience AND successfully completed graduate-level education.

Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Residency: Primary U.S. residency for at least three of the last five years.

Teacher associates are responsible for the support of students in the classroom or area that they are assigned. They are responsible to the school administration and work under the immediate direction of the teacher(s) to whom they are assigned to.
The teacher associate works within the framework of the job description and assignment and make decisions only within that framework. Teacher associate are responsible for personal care activities, student safety and academic assistance as assigned to them.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Learn about, respect and support Meskwaki language and culture in and out of the classroom.
Treat students in a respectful, responsible, fair manner with consideration to students' physical, social, cultural, and psychological development.
Follow the supervision and direction of the classroom teacher in the classroom related responsibilities and duties.
Learn and use necessary technology and software.
Carry out and document the individual education plans (IEP) which are formulated directed and supervised by the special education teacher.
Work with small groups or individual students.
Assistant students with physical needs when necessary.
Collaborate between general and special education for inclusion,
Refer all inquiries and concerns about the student to the supervising teacher and to the school administration if so directed.
Be knowledgeable and follow School Board policies and procedures, in particular those dealing with confidentiality, discipline, culture, harassment, and communication.
Demonstrate motivation and enthusiasm when working with students.
Attend regularly all meetings of the staff convened by the administration.
Carry out supervising responsibilities as assigned by the school administration.
Cover other duties on an as needed basis as determined by the school administration.
Create and assist with extracurricular activities.

Job Summary

Essential Job Duties
Watches gaming play on assigned tables for mistakes, fills, credits, money changes, and game protection.
Interacts with guests to provide an enjoyable gaming experience.
Enforces pit policies, procedures and regulations.
Compiles paperwork as required for assigned shift.
Keeps pit boss informed of status of assigned live games.
Handles minor disputes and corrects mistakes on assigned tables.
Communicates and networks effectively with staff, other departments, and outside representatives in order to maintain a productive and effective department operation.
Safeguard and account for the assets of the owners.
Comply with policies and procedures required by the department, the company, the Meskwaki Gaming Commission, and the National Indian Gaming Commission.
Monitor the casino environment and follow established safety procedures to provide for the safety of guests and co-workers.
Work respectfully and effectively as part of the company team to ensure guest satisfaction, asset protection, and co-worker respect.
Supplemental Job Duties
Report to work on time and as required in professional attire, display a high level of personal cleanliness and follow personal appearance standards.
Attends all required meetings and training sessions.
Performs other job related duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position will have the authority to make decisions necessary for carrying out the above listed job duties. This position directly supervises the Box Person and Dealers during an assigned shift. This position may be assigned further supervisory authority.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
May be exposed to loud and continual noise levels and a smoke filled environment. Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds may be required. Requires significant periods of standing, walking, reaching, and bending with periods of speaking and listening. Requires attention to detail and alertness during an entire shift. May be involved in verbal confrontations with guests as disputes arise. Must be confidential.
Minimum Job Qualifications
Knowledge/Education/Work Experiences : Requires high school diploma or GED. Must have at least six (6) months of pit experience and knowledge of game protection techniques. Must be able to obtain a gaming license in accordance to the regulations established by the Sac & Fox Gaming Commission.
Skills/Abilities : Must be able to work directly with the general public. Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Must have general knowledge of computers. Must have good interpersonal skills and possess tact when dealing with verbal confrontations. Must be able to handle busy and stressful situations. Must be flexible with work shifts and days off. Must be able to meet all internal supervisory or higher, training and education requirements.

Restrictions
This position is PROHIBITED from playing all casino games while on duty, except as authorized for employee tournaments. Otherwise, this position is PROHIBITED from playing live games while on or off duty. About the Role:
