Duties and Responsibilities

What You'll Be Doing At AMC
Assist the kitchen and dining room staff by prepping fresh ingredients for all meals.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age
Professional experience in preparing diverse meals that incorporate fresh, local and/or organic ingredients in an institutional setting is preferred.
Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to be a team player within a detail-oriented, fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with the White Mountain National Forest and enthusiasm for AMC programs and mission is preferred.
Candidate must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and evenings on a routine basis.
Must be able to successfully complete the ServSafe food handling course.
Ability to stand, sit, walk for 8 hours at a time and lift to 60 pounds is required.
The ability to be self-sufficient during services.

Duties
Transports members and staff by driving a 15-passenger bus/van to and from school(s) and to and from special outings/field trips while adhering to driving rules and regulations.
Maintains the safety of the members while traveling by enforcing safety rules.
Maintains good communications with the Boys Girls Club administration; checking in with the Site/Branch Director daily about safety/behavioral concerns. Maintains consistent, punctual, and regular attendance.
Completes daily all pre-and post-trip inspections for safety and security by inspecting and documenting in BGC vehicle logs prior to locking the vehicle and completing the daily shift. Perform welding, small metal fabrication, and custom equipment modifications to resolve root cause issues or meet assigned engineering needs.
Collaborate on improvement projects aimed at enhancing predictive and preventive maintenance capabilities to support continuous operational improvement.

Drives efficiency through lean manufacturing practices, preventive and predictive maintenance, and continuous improvement-reducing waste, minimizing downtime, and supporting cost-effective, on-time delivery.
Operational Excellence
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a variety of machinery, equipment, and facility systems to support seamless production operations.
Troubleshoot hydraulic systems, compressed air systems, mechanical drivetrains, blowers, steam systems, and electrical controls.
Maintain and troubleshoot thermal control systems, including chillers, cooling towers, and heater band controls.
Support process troubleshooting in collaboration with production teams across pipe extrusion, corrugator pipeline, and drainage system assembly lines to ensure quality part output.
Handle electrical systems ranging from low-voltage analog signals and 24V DC control wiring to 115V AC single-phase and 480V AC three-phase power.
Access and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), working independently or in coordination with remote engineering support.
Operate and maintain advanced automation equipment, including robotics, Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs), and digital data acquisition systems for cloud-based visual management.
Perform scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance on critical plant equipment such as motors, pumps, hydraulic systems, and cylinders to maximize uptime and reliability.
Provide technical leadership and training to associates, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing within the maintenance team.
Work effectively both independently and within team environments, self-motivated and productive without direct supervision.
Maintain flexibility to support off-shift operations, including occasional overtime and weekend work, as required to sustain plant performance.
Support production team needs based on customer demand and planned and/or unplanned absenteeism.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma
3-5 years of experience in plastic injection/extrusion molding and/or hydraulics in a manufacturing maintenance technician role
Strong communication skills, both in-person and via technology (e.g., cell phone, email)
Flexibility to travel to support other plant locations
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Maintenance background including hydraulics, electronics, pneumatics, machining, welding, electrical systems, and print reading
OSHA 10 and/or 30 Certification
Associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology or related field
Forklift Training/Certification -will be provided if not already certified
Computer proficiency including MS Office Suite, CMMS software
Familiarity with 6S and Lean manufacturing methodologies
Trade certification in electrical, plumbing, or related area
