The Department of Art and Design in the College of Arts and Letters at The University of Tampa invites applications for part-time live art models. The primary purpose of the model is to provide art students with the opportunity to practice, learn, and improve their perceptive skills and quality of artistic expression inspired by the human form.
Art models should be able to hold a pose for a short time for gesture and hold a pose for longer, sustained exercises (lasting 16-18 minutes). Art Models are expected to communicate directly with the course instructor regarding the length and style of the pose, or costuming, when posing draped. Most modeling is undraped, therefore, models should come prepared to class with a robe and appropriate footwear to cover up between undraped poses.
