PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Performs skilled electrical work in the inspection, repair, testing, adjustment, installation and removal of nuclear power plant equipment.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Inspects, repairs, installs and removes motors, generators, transformers, switches, and electrical signal and communication systems, along with their control equipment and wiring.
Locates and repairs failures in electrical circuits and equipment.
Installs test apparatus on electrical equipment.
Documents complex electrical wiring in schematic diagrams.
Assists other maintenance and modifications crafts.
Provides training and oversight to other personnel.
Performs emergency response duties as assigned.
To be assigned as needed to support decon, housekeeping, painting, calibration, tool room work and other duties as assigned by the Company.
This position requires completion of an Electrician qualification book.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must have satisfactorily completed an accredited electrical training program with a minimum of 2 years electrical experience (Trades, Manufacturing, Navy Nuclear electrical specific or an INPO accredited electrical maintenance training program).
May be subject to certification and recertification with periodic reviews if required by NRC or industry standards.
Must be physically capable of performing the essential functions of this position.
Must pass a validated aptitude test.
Must meet requirement of NRC psychological testing regulations.

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Inspects, tests, repairs and calibrates instrument systems including reactor and turbine plant control and protective equipment, radiation counting and detecting instrumentation and security equipment.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Tests all types of meters and gauges in the plant.
Performs corrective or routine maintenance duties including decontamination, cleaning and replacing components of circuits.
Maintains accurate records of instrument calibration and work performed.
Installs, tests and maintains all types of relays when used in connection with the most involved control systems and equipment arrangements at major stations on the bulk power system.
Tests equipment involving the bulk power system such as large circuit breakers.

Position Summary:
The Field Technician will travel to store locations to perform maintenance and service repairs on various types of commercial food service equipment. Candidate will work with dispatchers and team supervisors to manage workload to complete calls in timely manner.
Responsibilities:
• Repair and/or refurbish on equipment such as: frozen beverage, fountain soda coffee brewers, gas dispensing equipment, refrigerated cases, and other food service equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment such as frozen beverage units, fountain soda, coffee brewers, high speed ovens and other food service related equipment.
• Responsible for managing parts inventory on their assigned service truck by conducting weekly cycle counts and periodic physical inventory.
• Must be able to travel to several locations throughout the day and work independently the majority of the time.
• Receive dispatches via email & phone, and works with dispatchers to ensure prioritization of work with the goal of maximizing equipment up-time.
• Updates job status and notes via online work order management system, provides detailed resolution notes
• Maintains truck inventory accuracy by performing weekly cycle counts and annual inventory.
• Ensures service vehicle is maintained, clean, and well stocked with service parts.
• Perform other job related duties as assigned by Department Manager
Working Relationships: Internal Facilities Managers, dispatchers and parts department, to include Retail Store team members. Will also interact with other technical peers including: HVAC Technicians, Fuel Maintenance Technicians and General Maintenance Technicians.
Minimum Education: a high school diploma or its equivalent
Preferred Education: Trade school and/or Associates Degree
Minimum Experience: Requires 0-2 year's related experience.
Preferred Experience: 2+ years of experience repairing food service equipment such as high speed ovens, food warmers, coffee brewers, frozen beverage equipment (Brand: Taylor or FBD), fountain soda units, roller grills and other related equipment. Additional experience in other trades (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) would be a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities
As a BPA, you will be part of our 60,000+ workforce that strives to protect the American people by safeguarding our borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing the nation's economic prosperity. Being a BPA makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) profession.
Typical assignments include:
Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration and custom laws and inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations
Preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers of noncitizens at or near the borders by maintaining surveillance from covert positions to include using infrared scopes during night operations

Qualifications
You qualify for the GL-5 grade level if you possess one of the following:
Experience: One (1) year of general work experience that demonstrates the ability to take charge, make sound decisions, and maintain composure in stressful situations; to learn regulations, methods, and techniques through classroom training and/or on-the-job instruction; and the ability to gather concise information through questioning, observation, and examination of documents and records; OR
Education Substitution: A bachelor's degree or successful completion of a full four-year course of study in
any field
leading to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; OR
Combination of Experience and Education: A combination of general work experience AND successfully completed college education. This will be calculated using your resume and official or unofficial transcripts submitted with your application.
You qualify for the GL-7 grade level if you possess one of the following:
Experience: One year of specialized work experience that shows you have the skills necessary to:
Make sound judgments and decisions in the use of firearms.
Deal effectively with people in a courteous and tactful manner in connection with law enforcement matters.
Analyze information rapidly and make prompt decisions where you will be expected to make arrests after the completion of required training and apply these skills in a law enforcement capacity such as criminal code enforcement, determining violations of laws, correctional or rehabilitation work involving criminal offenders, security, military, etc.
The above experience will be applied in connection with the following: Make arrests and exercise sound judgment in the use of firearms; deal effectively with people in a courteous manner in connection with law enforcement matters; analyze information rapidly and make prompt decisions; or develop and maintain contact with a network of informants.
Education Substitution for the GL-7 grade level: A bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement, which is based on (1) class standing, (2) grade-point average (i.e., GPA of 3.0 or higher out of a possible 4.0), or (3) honor society membership. Or will receive a bachelor's degree with Superior Academic Achievement. Or one full year of graduate-level education in a field of study related to law enforcement (e.g., criminal justice, homeland security, justice studies, law enforcement, courts and judicial systems, forensic technology, forensic psychology, or corrections and rehabilitation) from an accredited college or university; OR
A Combination of Experience and Education: This will be calculated using your resume and official or unofficial transcripts submitted with your application.

Other Requirements

Responsibilities:
Responsible for completing assigned tasks, regularly scheduled preventative maintenance, reporting any unsafe conditions.
1. Responsible for own tools and safe practices with all tools.
2. Responsible to respond in a timely manner to work requests.
3. Cleans up after work of maintenance is completed or at the end of the day.
4. Must have a good working knowledge of painting, Drywall installation / repair, plumbing
5. Maintains records on repairs, painting projects, grounds, building rounds etc.
6. Prioritizes work orders and requests by department.
7. Responsible for all equipment, building, and office maintenance for the facility
8. Checks climate controls on a daily basis to insure proper heating and cooling.
9. Assists with wheelchair admission preparation and repairs.
10. Ensures repairs are made to electrical, plumbing and air conditioning units.
11. Initiates changes that will lead to energy savings and preventive maintenance on equipment.
12. Ensures boilers, air conditioners, and compressors are prepared for seasonal change over.
13. Responsible ensure pumps, heating and cooling valves, boilers are maintained in good working condition.
14. Responsible for monthly load testing of Back-up generators and the documentation completed per policy. Generators are in good working condition in the event of an emergency.
15. Responsible for the operation and repair of various machines and equipment used in the maintenance of the Facility.
16. Ensures repairs are made to equipment used in the maintenance of the Facility.
17. Operates all tools (hand or electric) properly and safely
18. Operates various motor vehicles to pick up and deliver office equipment and supplies and is responsible to ensure such equipment in maintained in good working order.
19. When on call, Responds 24 hrs/ 7 days/week to any emergency in the Facility unless alternate arraignments have been made. Must also ensure the 24hrs/7days on-call coverage is maintained by Maintenance Staff.
20. Monitors building management system for all buildings.
21. Responsible to help prepare physical plant for State Surveys, HUD inspections, State and Local Code Enforcement visits and any other inspections or surveys.
22. Responsible for employee injury prevention, follows safety rules, wears PPE properly and addresses safety issues with supervisor.
23. All other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience Required: 3-5 years related experience working in a maintenance capacity.

Our East Syracuse, NY laboratory is looking for an entry-level Laboratory Assistant to join their Gravimetrics team! The Laboratory Technician will prepare samples with accuracy and precision in accordance to SGS' analytical SOPs. The Laboratory Technician works independently and as part of a team to meet daily production targets and ensure hold times and turnaround times are met. The Laboratory Technician ensures best quality through adherence to all policies, procedures, and quality verifications. The Laboratory Technician always follows safe laboratory practices and maintains a safe working environment.
Job Functions
* After appropriate training, independently prepares media for analysis according to SGS' SOPs, using basic instrumentation specific to the department and analytical methodologies.
* Performs routine operation, maintenance, calibration of preparation instruments/equipment.
* Inputs and maintains technical information, as needed, to support the laboratory functions/operations.
* Maintains Laboratory Notebook where applicable.
* Adheres to internal standards, policies, and procedures.
* Performs all required quality verifications, ensuring best quality.
* Monitors inventory levels of chemicals and consumables, ensuring appropriate levels, at all times.
* Ensures all chemicals are labelled appropriately, required personal protective equipment is worn consistently, and all safety precautions are followed.
* Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent and prior general working experience (Required)
* 1-2 years of laboratory experience (Preferred)
* Proficient English language skills (Required)
* Basic mathematical and reasoning skills (Required)
* Basic computer skills (Required)
* Ability to lift/carry/push or pull upwards of 25 lbs on a frequent basis (Required)
This position pays $18/hr and is eligible for overtime.
