The **Communications Technician** is responsible for the planning, layout and complete installation of new and retrofit communications equipment and systems in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes and industry standards for a particular project. This includes conducting site surveys, pulling cable, terminating and testing both copper and fiber optic cable to the highest level of specifications as well as installing ancillary communications systems. The candidate must have extensive experience with the installation, termination and testing of Structured Cable Plant in commercial environments. Hospital or Airport installs will be a plus. The candidate should have knowledge of BICSI guidelines for proper install and termination procedures. Employees must provide their own hand tools. Dean's **E&C business unit** . The successful candidate will interact with project teams and customers on a regular basis. The candidate will enter orders in our CMS system, enter in work orders in our Infralink system, create, submit, and post billings for various contract types and assist in managing the accounts receivable and under-billings for large multi-year projects and programs. The candidate will provide cost analysis on projects. Responsibilities include the following: + Ensure accurate and timely complex billing submission monthly. + Contract Reconciliations and change order tracking to accurately reflect correct values. + Ad-hoc reporting for project managers and executives. + Conduct highly efficient and effective monthly Key Project Reviews (KPR). + Assist project team with monthly financial forms: + Provide cost analysis and require explanation of variances from the project team. + Help project management team in preparation monthly financial forms for review with management. + Ensure acceptable justification for all found variances (fades/gains). **Project Procurement Planning:** + Lead procurement planning effort for the project. Job DescriptionSalary: We are currently seeking qualified Electricians to add workforce in Plain City, Ohio. Candidates for this position should be local to the Columbus, Ohio region. The Electrician reports to a Superintendent or person designated by the Superintendent to perform assigned functions in accordance with company policies and procedures and assist in achieving the projects goals and objectives. Work will consist of installation, alterations, additions and/or repairs of electrical systems, equipment and associated materials within the electrical construction industry. Preferred Job Skills: Must possess in-depth commercial or industrial electrical construction experience, and be able to meet or exceed productivity goals. Demonstrated ability to install conduit, wire and cable systems is required. Ability to install and terminate panels, switchboards and other electrical equipment. Utilize test equipment to test voltage, amperage, and continuity of circuit wiring to ensure compatibility and safety of components.
