Wes Thompson became the President and CEO of M Financial Group on September 1, 2017. In this role, he oversees all strategic and operational aspects of M, including the development of resources and services designed to enhance Member Firm success and the overall growth of the enterprise. Wes is also a member of the M Financial Holdings Incorporated Board of Directors.Prior to M Financial, Wes was the CEO of Emerge, a company he founded in January 2015. Emerge makes insurance for emergencies accessible, easy to understand, and easy to buy, so that people can protect themselves from the growing risk of medical debt. Emerge is the first virtual advisor for finding, comparing, and purchasing emergency insurance online.Before founding Emerge, Wes served as President, Sun Life Financial U.S., where he was responsible for all aspects of the company’s U.S. insurance businesses. He joined Sun Life U.S. in 2008 and was instrumental in renewing the strategic direction of the company. Wes has a strong track record of building profitable organizations focused on growth. As President of Sun Life U.S., he championed key initiatives such as expanding the business and positioning it for further success through the sale of the U.S. domestic annuity business and transformation of the group benefits business into a customer-focused operating model. He was also responsible for advancing the company’s brand in the U.S., including securing naming rights for Sun Life Stadium in Miami. After compiling an impressive list of accomplishments, Wes retired from Sun Life in April 2014 to pursue a variety of entrepreneurial and personal interests.In the decade prior to joining Sun Life, Wes held executive leadership roles at Lincoln Financial Group. He created the company’s centralized wholesale distribution organization, before becoming President of Employer Markets (group retirement plans and group benefits) and President of the Retirement Solutions business.

Andrew 'Andy' Graves is a VP/Chief Life Mkt Dev & Tech Ofcr at M Financial Holdings Inc and VP/CTO/Chief Life Market Dev at M Financial Holdings Inc. Andrew Kramer is a Vice President and Chief Underwriter at M Financial Holdings Inc and is based in Charlotte, North Carolina. He has worked as SVP, Global Insurance Risk Executive at Bank of America; Vice President & Chief Underwriter at ANDREW (ANDY) J. KRAMER; and SVP, Senior Credit Risk Executive at Bank of America. Andrew studied at Saint John's University between 1984 and 1988 and University of Missouri Kansas City between 1990 and 1993.
