Position Overview: This role serves as independent 3rd party, advising and supporting internal stakeholders, on Strategic Enterprise Initiative Governance, Industry best practices for Change Management, Transformation and Strategic Program Management and Execution, and Value Realization. In-depth experience managing Enterprise-level, strategic Initiatives utilizing core Governance components and controls. Highly experienced in Program/Project Management, Process Re-engineering, Organizational Change Management, Performance Measurement, and Customer Experience. This function serves as independent 3rd party advising and supporting internal stakeholders on Strategic Enterprise Initiative Governance, transformation delivery methodologies, and execution. Primary Responsibilities: Responsible for overseeing and driving teams in the adoption and implementation of an evolving Strategic Enterprise Initiative Governance framework aimed at achieving alignment across the bank and its strategy, including providing transparency to senior leadership of progress of initiatives. Develop and tailor communications content and artifacts used across various levels in the organization on our Strategic Enterprise Initiative Portfolio of highly complex business initiatives with high attention to detail and quality. Independently guide multi-disciplinary teams through large-scale complex transformational changes focused on Strategic Enterprise Initiatives, or strategically important short-term engagements that deliver business outcomes. Ensures follow up on all critical items and drives accountability through documentation and governance framework and/or assessments. Build and leverage relationships across the organization to break down silos, stay connected to changes going on in the bank; Encourage collaboration to support an environment of information sharing to effectively deliver outcomes; Responsible for sharing and leveraging deep institutional and/or industry knowledge, business processes/workflows, products, and technologies to help shape strategy, and deliver desired outcomes for M&T. Lead work groups and individuals with different perspectives to develop and provide strategic recommendations, encourage innovation, and embrace a culture of transformational change. Provide execution certainty by setting pace and driving accountability, working alongside senior leaders to drive decisions. Support Governance practices and our business partners by influencing the level of defined outcomes and key measures of success for Strategic transformation initiatives. Encourage a culture of how to challenge status quo by consistently pushing for innovation, continuous improvement, and recommend solutions for adoption across the organization. Mentor and coach Enterprise Transformation Portfolio and/or Delivery team members to take ownership of their development and career path. Understand and adhere to the Company's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company's Risk Appetite. Design, implement, maintain and enhance internal controls to mitigate risk on an ongoing basis. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management. Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable. Complete other related duties as assigned. Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities: This position does not directly manage a team.     This position manages a portfolio of M&T owned properties to ensure timely resale in an effort to minimize loss to M&T. **Primary Responsibilities:** + Maintain and liquidate a portfolio of M&T owned properties. + Address any and all issues preventing timely liquidation of portfolio properties. + Assign real estate agent upon referral from foreclosure. This may require an interview process and uploading of information into M&T Bank systems. + Establish a working relationship with the agent selling real estate with weekly communication. + Negotiate Cash for Keys using agent, attorney, investor and Mortgage Insurer (MI) according to procedural guidelines. + Open the eviction process and follow up weekly with the attorney. + Stay current on all SCRA laws and any changes or additions to eviction law. + Make arrangements and follow up with the agent on all lock-out arrangements. + Fully understand the personal property posting and property eviction requirements in all states. + If the occupants are cooperative, write up an analysis of listing occupied and submit to management for approval. + Follow the eviction timeline reporting and update all steps in M&T Bank servicing system. + Determine if any repairs are necessary or would substantially increase the value of the property and proceed according to any investor or MI guidelines. + Research and determine a listing price and a Reconciled Asset Value ("RAV") for each property for management approval + Follow all time lines established by the investors. + Follow all requirements determined by the specific municipality for vacant property registration and code violations. + Follow up with the agents to take care of and avoid all code violations. + Verify that taxes and hazard insurance is in place for each property. + Verify that all properties are listed in the MLS. + Discuss marketing with the agents on a 7 - 10 day basis. + Complete write ups for list reductions and submit for management and/or investor/MI approval. + Review and negotiate all offers on properties. + Engage Support to have the contract on approved offers completed. + Stay engaged with the agent through closing. + Recommend liquidating through an auction house if marketing is unsuccessful. + Adhere to applicable compliance/operational risk controls in accordance with Company or regulatory standards and policies. + Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable. + Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand. + Complete other related duties as assigned.
