Provides professional executive protection and event security through advance location assessment, threat analysis and the comprehensive application of protection and security protocols to ensure the safety of the Bank's executives.
**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Conduct thorough site risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and threats to executive leadership. Coordinate with law enforcement and third parties to ensure security of the venue and safety of the executive(s).
+ Proactively plan and execute security strategies for executive protection, including, but not limited to, internal corporate functions, VIP gatherings, Board of Directors meetings, investor conferences, and public appearances.
+ Coordinate threat intelligence, protective intelligence, and travel security with internal Corporate Security to ensure compliance with security standards.
+ Coordinate with law enforcement, first responders and/or third parties to ensure the safety of the executive(s) and guests. Ensure event security through the operation of security checkpoints, access control, and emergency response procedures.
+ Develop and maintain security operational plans, incident reports, and after-action briefings. Review and report this information to Chief Security Officer and applicable senior leaders to track status, ensure compliance and program accountability.
+ Develop and implement personalized security plans to ensure safety and well-being of Bank leadership, including office and/ or event space venues, transportation, travel security and residential protection, as needed.
+ Organize and conduct training sessions for security personnel on best practices and emergency response.
+ Assist in creating and/or updating policies and procedures for daily operations and events.
+ Conduct routine security risk assessments for corporate offices and corporate event locations.
+ Assist in the development of incident response protocols in partnership with the Security Risk Management and Intelligence Operations program.
+ Assist in staffing the Corporate Security Operations Center (CSOC) in Buffalo, NY, as required, during significant events
+ Maintain a high level of discretion and professionalism when dealing with clients and sensitive situations.
+ Maintain excellent rapport and open lines of communication regarding requests for support, service issues, and deliverables with senior leaders.
+ Understand and adhere to the Company's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company's Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.

**Scope of Responsibilities:**
This individual is a member of M&T Bank's Corporate Security Executive Protection and Event Security team. This role requires comprehensive experience and expertise in conducting advance security planning, professionalism, and discretion in dealing with senior executives and their respective staff, appropriate handling of emergency situations, and strong collaboration in building trust as a subject matter expert on event security arrangements and crisis response. Travel within the Bank's footprint, including potential international travel, is required to complete job duties.

In this role you will:
