What a day in the life for a Restaurant General Manger can look like:
Control profitability by following cash control/security procedures, maintaining property inventory levels, managing labor, reviewing financial reports, and taking appropriate actions.
Recruit, interview and hire Team Members, Shift Managers and Assistant General Managers.
Coach and train all employees in operational excellence to ensure restaurant success.
Complete inventory counts every other week.
Ensure the restaurant is kept clean, and the team provides an exceptional visit for the guests with friendliness and a quality product.
Requirements:
What you bring to the table:
Minimum 1 year of experience as General Manager in food service or retail environment, including Profit & Loss responsibility preferably in quick serve restaurant (QSR).
Managers must be at least 18 years old.
Availability to close the restaurant at least two nights a week.
Ability to lift, carry, stack, push or pull heavy objects. Stand and walk constantly for entire shifts. Maneuver through compact spaces safely and operate restaurant equipment.

Restaurant General Manager Employees are entitled to compensation commensurate with skill and experience. The exact compensation will vary based on skills, experience, location, and other factors permitted by law and will be discussed during the hiring process. The expected starting compensation ranges for new hires in this position in various states and jurisdictions are as follows:

State of New York: $55,000 to $60,000
New York City: $65,000 to $70,000

Duties will also include performing ranch and house yard maintenance, cleaning barns, cattle chute and house porches, cutting firewood, clearing dead limbs, weed maintenance and ranch road maintenance. By self-starter we mean if you see a potential problem issue , you write the problem down, ask questions about issue, and communicate the issue so it gets added to schedule. For example, if you see a cow limping, you get her tag number/description write it in your task log and make sure she gets checked on again. Keeping equipment clean, in good repair and putting it back where it belongs at the end of each shift. Repairing cattle water troughs and fences, minor mechanical repair and welding skills are all a plus. For rare snow weather events, we may ask that you stay at ranch overnight so we can make sure cattle have access to water and feed. Beef Quality Assurance Certification and/or TDA AG Pesticide Certification are a plus and we will provide access to training.
A clean driving record is required to drive ranch vehicles. No alcohol allowed. We do have limited opportunities to earn bonuses and possible commissions on commercial cattle sales. Reliable transportation to ranch is required. Ranch work can require you to work some hours on national holidays but we all work together to minimize. Salary range is dependent upon experience. A day in the life of one of our therapists can look like:
Traveling to clients' homes to provide individually tailored therapy
Documenting therapy visits and contacting families and case managers to share updates
Utilizing and augmenting the resources we provide to use in therapy
Looking to hire passionate and committed SLP-Assistants who are dedicated to serving adult individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities within the Kaufman area. As the #1 adult IDD therapy provider in Texas, Soundly Speaking works closely with dayhab staff and families to serve our inspiring clients ages 21 and up.
Soundly Speaking provides both in-person and teletherapy services to our clients. Based on an hourly wage, we expect our SLP-Assistants to:
Treat a wide range of speech and language disorders
Provide detailed therapy to achieve short and long term goals as part of a comprehensive treatment plan
Be adaptable to the circumstance and work with their supervisor and case managers
Turn in paperwork in a 24 hour timeline
Maintain confidentiality of patient records in accordance with HIPAA, State, and Federal Regulations
Communicate with families and case managers about the progression of therapy

Occasional free access to Continuing Education Units as approved by ASHA for yearly license
