    The Maintenance Technician I under the general supervision of the Manager, Facility Services will support the process to satisfy new and current customer demands at FCI sites as to meet all of our customer demands. The Maintenance Technician I will administer an ongoing maintenance program for FCI to ensure the facility equipment is fully operational. The Technician will perform preventive maintenance, emergency maintenance, part installation and/or repairs on facility equipment. Responsibilities Perform a variety of repairs and preventive maintenance duties to ensure building equipment, production equipment, building and grounds are maintained and performing to standard. Complete all assigned scheduled preventive maintenance tasks. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Assist in documenting and identifying problem areas and maintaining the preventive maintenance program. Examine equipment during operation to determine if adjustments or repairs are needed. Request materials as needed for maintenance and repair of equipment or systems. Some assigned after hours support is required. This job requires full time punctual attendance at the workplace to perform the assigned maintenance duties. This position requires the ability to work within a team effectively including providing training classes for remaining team on any Technical training classes received.
