This position will achieve parts and service profit goals by promoting and selling service programs, preventive maintenance contracts, parts, and additional repair programs within an assigned territory or region. Duties/Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:
* Increase revenue and profit for parts and services for a specified type of customer
* Maintain and update activities in customer relationship management (CRM) software accurately and efficiently
* Generate new leads and accounts through a variety of sales-related activities (customer calls, mailing, promotional campaigns)
* Maintain accurate customer data, machine population information, and qualified accounts within appropriate software to ensure promotions are targeted to specific customers
* Develop and maintain relationships with established and new customers to determine individual customer needs and provide solutions to meet them
* Promote all aspects of the dealership including parts, service, labor, customer value agreements and machine and engine sales leads
* Create custom incremental parts and service quotes for customers
Occasional Responsibilities:
* Assist with monitoring work-in-progress to ensure high quality customer service and exceed customer expectations
* Compile market research and formulate a "Go-to-Market Strategy"

Required:
* High School Diploma or GED

* Coordinate with the shops and service managers to facilitate quick turnaround of equipment from receipt to rental ready status, helping them prioritize shop work based on urgency and opportunity
* Consulting with the shops to determine what repairs, if any, are performed and billed to the customer when damaged
* Work with sales account reps and /or customers to identify equipment needs based on jobsite requirements, create rental quotes and make pricing decisions based on commercial impact, customer opportunity and equipment availability
* Ensure proper documents are signed on the contract and all shipping and receiving documentation is secured and accounted for in MacAllister computer system. Responsible for resolution of any customer complaint related to billing, delivery, technical and/or equipment problems
* Responsible for promotion of rental activity thru a variety of avenues
* Ensure proper account billing, including but not limited to, invoicing and issuing credits at the rental coordinator's discretion based on the perceived validity of the customer's claim, machine usage and commercial impact
* Ensure the proper execution of rental duties and ensure rental assets are properly accounted for by utilizing a number of reports
* Work with credit department to get new accounts approved
* Ensure both the renter and the rental equipment is properly insured by either obtaining proof of insurance from the customer or enrolling them in MacAllister Rental Protection Program ()
* Responsible for all logistics coordination of rental machines
* The position may require some travel to customer work sites
Qualifications:
* Minimum requirement of an Associate Degree or two years equivalent experience in a related field. Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of equivalent experience preferred
* Strong communication skills to build lasting partnerships with both internal departments and external customers
* Ability to juggle multiple tasks at once and strong ability to organize and prioritize tasks
* Prior experience within the industry would be advantageous
