Objective: This position provides the service of installing and performing all maintenance and repairs of diesel and electric air compressors, air dryers, and associated systems. Primary Responsibilities: * Performs all first-time (start-up) installations to ensure compatibility with all other equipment to be installed
* Diagnoses and troubleshoots electrical and mechanical problems to ensure the entire compressed air system runs safely and efficiently
* Ensures accuracy and completion of all documentation, including service reports and time keeping
* Monitors and complies with all safety policies, procedures, guidelines, and laws as they pertain to staff and customers within the location
* Ensures all facilities and equipment are in excellent, safe operating condition
* Maintains daily correspondence with staff from all departments within the Company, Customers, Suppliers, and Caterpillar
Occasional/Other Responsibilities:
* Assists with performing services on other industry related systems such as generators, and distribution. (Caterpillar, Cummins, Kohler, Generac, and others)
Required:
* High School Diploma or GED
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in related field
* Valid Michigan Driver's License
Preferred
* 5 years or more of experience in related field
* Atlas Copco and Sullair experience preferred
* CDL or Chauffer's License

* Overall the course will take 2 years to complete.
The course will take you through a variety of different tasks, including but not limited to:
* Electronics
* Diagnostics
* Engines and Transmissions
* Hydraulics
* General Education, such as Mathematics, that supports the program
