Job Summary:
The Core Machine Operator is responsible for the operation of a machine that cuts material in preparation for a Moulder.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Setup and changeover the Core Machine for daily operation including adjusting heads, jointing, and machine controls.
* Work efficiently to streamline work processes and reduce downtime.
* Troubleshoot machine and equipment problems.
* Use calipers to perform periodic quality checks on product.
* Understand grades, sizes, and quality control measures.
* Promote team-work by assisting other crew members with their duties as needed to ensure quality and production targets are met.
* Train others to perform the responsibilities of a Core Machine Operator.

Key responsibilities for this position include:
* Disassembles all the packaging equipment to clean and disinfect
* Follow and adhere to all safety and GMP procedures and policies
* Take necessary measures if people are performing unsafe acts or are in an unsafe environment.
* Perform daily swabs of equipment
. Reassembles all equipment taken apart and prepares equipment for production ensuring production will resume on clean equipment and in a timely manner.
* Maintain clean and organized work area by adhering to all housekeeping and GMP procedures
* Interact with associates to maintain efficient process flow
* Maintain open line of communication with all line workers, supervisors, and managers
* Perform sanitation duties as assigned by sanitation lead and supervisor
* Report problems and/or concerns to supervisors and/or management
* Attend departmental meetings and training as assigned by the supervisor and/or manager
* Perform other work duties as assigned
