Job Title: Slitter Operator Pay: $21 - $26 per hour Hours: 1st and 3rd Shift (Sunday - Thursday) What You'll Do: As a Slitter Operator, you will be responsible for: Loading coils onto the uncoiler with precision and care. Unloading scrap and finished product efficiently to maintain workflow. Transferring cuts from the uncoiler to the turnstile. Reading and interpreting job tickets to ensure adherence to specifications. Banding coils once they are on the turnstile and securing them on pallets. Cutting bands as needed and performing core cuts and spot welds. What You'll Bring: The ideal candidate for this role will have: A high school diploma or equivalent. Forklift operator certification. Strong math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide two-digit numbers accurately with an understanding of measurement units (currency, weight, volume, and distance).
