The MachineOperator is responsible for managing batch record documentation, operating and maintaining pouch filling machinery, and ensuring accurate preparation of ingredients. JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Determine batch characteristics, type and weight of ingredients to be used
Select, pre-weigh ingredients to specification and to reconcile ingredient usage for each batch
Wash and sanitize mixing tanks and other equipment as necessary
PHYSCIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Walking, standing, stooping and bending for long periods of time
Must be able to pick up 50 lbs
Must be able to work both in climate controlled and outdoor environments
Comfortable with exposure to confined areas and chemicals

What Production Operation contributes to Cardinal Health

**_What Production Operation contributes to Cardinal Health_**
Manufacturing is responsible for cost of production and maintenance activities including process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety and engagement, and environmental commitment.
Production Operationoperates light-duty bench- or floor-type machine tools and automation equipment. May set up machiningmachines and make adjustments, and perform maintenance on machines. Checks work using prescribed gauges, jigs and fixtures to measure close tolerances. Some machines may be numerically controlled. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
**_Responsibilities_**
+ Perform a variety of tasks ranging from operatingmachine tools and automation equipment.
+ Loading machines (Boxes, pampers, wipes into the machine) and packaging product.
+ Setting up machines, adjustments, and minor maintenance on machines.
+ Conduct quality inspections, as well as quality and processing audits.
+ Perform repackage/rework when necessary.
+ Retrieve finished product from the machine and pack it into pre-formed cases.
+ Receive filled unsealed cases of product from the pack off, seal and stack the cases and send them to the warehouse.
+ Complete necessary production and quality paperwork as required.
+ Perform pre-operational check of automatic case sealing machine and bagger.
+ Prepare for next shift by ensuring sufficient supplies are present, area and trash containers are clean, Marsh printer is reset, and rework is complete.
**_Qualifications_**
+ High School Diploma or GED preferred
+ 1-3 years related work experience and/or training preferred
