Overview of this Position:
The Pharmaceutical Operator (II) plays a critical role in sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing by operating and maintaining isolator systems for aseptic filling processes. This position ensures compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and supports the production of high-quality injectable drug products in a controlled environment.
Non-Negotiable Requirements:
• At least two (2) years of experience operating isolators in a sterile/aseptic manufacturing facility
• At least two (2) years of experience in a GMP manufacturing facility
• At least one (1) year of experience with routine cleaning, decontamination, and setup of isolators according to SOPs.
•High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Requirements:
• Experience working with Master Control, and/or SAP.
• Experience with cleanroom operations and environmental monitoring
•Experience with automated filling equipment and troubleshooting isolator
•Previous experience in pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing
•Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills
•Bachelor's degree in biology and /or Life Sciences
Responsibilities Include:
•Operate isolator systems for aseptic filling of sterile injectable products
•Perform routine cleaning, decontamination, and setup of isolators according to SOPs
•Handle sterile components and materials in compliance with aseptic techniques
•Complete batch records and controlled documentation accurately and timely
•Monitor and document environmental conditions and equipment performance

Essential Functions:
1. Perform manufacturing processes and operate production equipment, including, but not limited to: washers, autoclave, dry heat oven, heat sealers, vial washer, ultrasonic cleaner.
2. Perform production operations according to Batch Records and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
3. Maintain proper documentation (batch records, production logs, etc.)
4. Write and review master documents as applicable: SOPs and batch records
5. Write Operation Deviation Reports
6. Supervise contract production employees as applicable
7. Maintain inventory of control warehouse space
8. Perform production and maintenance activities in the Aseptic Processing Area (APA)
9. Write and edit documents including: procedures, deviations, master batch records, protocols and reports as necessary
10. Perform initial assembly and review of completed production records for completeness
11. Maintain order and cleanliness in production area
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
1. Ability to read and write English. Dress, speak and act in a professional manner
2. Physically able to stand for extended periods of time, mover objects up to 50 pounds, bend and reach to access equipment, have near vision correctable to 20/20 and be able to wear corrective eyewear to achieve this, if necessary.
3. Must be capable of working in close proximity to other employees, regardless of gender, in the confined environment of the production facility.
4. Must be capable of working in the clean room for uninterrupted extended periods
5. Ability to maintain neat and accurate records required
6. Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
Requirements for Education and Experience
1. Minimum of high school diploma or GED; Associates or Bachelor's degree desirable
2. One year of manufacturing experience required. Three years manufacturing experience or more strongly preferred.
3. Clean room experience preferred.

What will you do?
Operate and monitor the machine and its parts to ensure efficiency and quality, and support experts during troubleshooting when needed.
Manage color changes, adjust and set blow pins, clean the mixer, perform basic daily repairs, and carry out weekly and monthly maintenance on the machine and its ancillaries.
Know the process parameters of the machine, can set them, and can set up and change recipes.
Ensure proper handling of both raw material and post-production materials
Act as Shift Supervisor deputy if needed.
Fill out production documents, quality control sheets, and record data.
Perform product checks using measuring tools, follows the control plan, and records the results on the correct forms.
Support technical staff in solving minor issues that affect product quality and production, focusing on how specific parameters impact the final result.
What are we looking for?
Good knowledge of plastic molding technologies (EBM and/or SBM and/or IM).
Good applied knowledge of measuring instruments and techniques.
Ability to operate manual and electric forklifts.
Basic applied knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical and/or electronic systems.
Basic applied knowledge of WCM standards.
Basic knowledge of Health, Safety and Environment rules and practices.
Diploma in electrical or mechanical studies
