JOB SUMMARY


Operate rubber injection molding machines to fabricate rubber components, responsible for the production of molded products.


Job Requirements
Safety
Understands and follows plant safety and procedures
Wears appropriate protective equipment as required, dresses and conducts self in a safe manner
Keeps work area clean and orderly
Participates in plant safety objectives


Job Functions
Responsible for all aspects of molding operations, i.e. work instructions, standard operating procedures and revision control
Ensures quality operation of the process, performs quality checks and controls, including adherence to cleaning and maintenance
Must maintain pre-determined efficiency, standards and productivity rates
Prepares and maintains accurate production records and follows standard operating procedures
Communicates respectfully with all team members
Ensures shift change is completed and forms are filled out with accurate and appropriate information
Additional duties may be assigned to meet business needs


Experience Skills and/or Training


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The experience and skills listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Previous experience in physically demanding work in factory environment preferred
Able to work up to 20 hours of overtime to meet Business Objectives as needed
Able to work a weekend schedule as needed
Work with minimal supervision
Able to demonstrate a high level of ownership to assigned tasks
Working knowledge of components, part numbers and process involved in manufacturing
Must be able to:
Bend, twist & turn Climb/descend ladders/stairs Lift up to 40 Pounds Pull/Push up to 40 Pounds Stand for long periods
Good hand dexterity
Ability to speak and write in clear English communications
Proficient math skills

SUMMARYPerform Direct Fulfillment manufacturing processes to ensure on time shipments of a quality product. To work in an efficient manner and maximize output.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.· Manually assemble a system using torque drivers and hardware, to a predetermined volume.· Functionally test a completed system according to work processes.· Pull necessary material from flow racks and bin locations.· Perform back flush operations on the computer operating systems.· Conduct physical inventory in the designated area.· Maintaining 5S order and cleanliness at all times.· Adhere to all safety rules and use required protective equipment.· Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.· Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSHigh school diploma or equivalent required; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to obtain and maintain all required job related certifications.

The anticipated hourly pay range for this role is $10.46 - $15.16 - $19.87. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, education (if requirement noted above), geographic location, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.

Qualifications:

• Must have strong attention to detail.
• Must have a cooperative attitude necessary to work effectively with others.
• Good communication skills (verbal & written).
• Must be able to follow verbal & written work instructions.
• Must be adaptable, flexible, and maintain effectiveness in a variety of roles.
• Be Safety Conscious.
• Must be able to lift 75 – 100 pounds.

Responsibilities:

The primary duties of the employee are (but are not limited to) the following:

• Maintain production and quality standards.
• Read and follow instructions on orders.
• Perform routine operations on various machines (load, set-up, doff) – make necessary adjustments to meet quality standards.
• Cross-train throughout the department to fill in as needed.
• All employees have the responsibility to bring forth suggestions and participate in the continuous improvement process and verify the implementation of solutions.
• Conform to all quality/safety/environmental requirements and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workplace.
• Maintain a clean production area: cleaning, sweeping, etc.
